[00:00:03] [SPEAKER_03]: This is a Bramble Jam Podcast.
[00:00:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah! Hello!
[00:00:19] [SPEAKER_03]: And welcome to another episode of DCOM Descendants!
[00:00:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Friends, Aaron, Dan, we're here every single Friday!
[00:00:27] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:00:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Diving deep into the world of the DCOM.
[00:00:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Some folks call it fray-yay and I don't like talking to those people.
[00:00:32] [SPEAKER_03]: We are 30 plus deep at this point everyone.
[00:00:36] [SPEAKER_03]: And only a fraction of the way through if you really think about it.
[00:00:39] [SPEAKER_02]: You don't have to think much, but yes, correct.
[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean any part of the way through is a fraction?
[00:00:43] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right. That's still you.
[00:00:45] [SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly what I'm trying to say.
[00:00:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Bad hosting.
[00:00:47] [SPEAKER_03]: What are fractions?
[00:00:49] [SPEAKER_02]: I tell you what is disappointing along with your math.
[00:00:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Part of the whole, I never freaking understood fractions.
[00:00:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Is the fact that, Bramble, we still haven't had a new review since August 4th.
[00:00:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Did we do something wrong?
[00:00:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:01:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Did we hurt someone's feelings?
[00:01:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, you know, the only silver lining here is we're probably not doing anything after the DCOMs are over at this rate.
[00:01:07] [SPEAKER_02]: That's the silver lining for me.
[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_02]: It's someone that does love both of you and the show and watching these movies.
[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be nice to end...
[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_00]: We can get a third host, right?
[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I own half of this, so...
[00:01:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but we can still replace it.
[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no.
[00:01:23] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll call it something else and then you won't...
[00:01:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Vote of no confidence.
[00:01:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Vote of no confidence.
[00:01:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe I was seeing Unchartable if maybe there was one from like another country because we can see those.
[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_02]: But I'm not seeing any.
[00:01:34] [SPEAKER_02]: No, nothing.
[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_02]: United States.
[00:01:36] [SPEAKER_02]: What are we going to do out here, gang?
[00:01:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Do our best.
[00:01:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Get some reviews.
[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Leave a rating and review and let us know what we could do for more reviews.
[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_03]: I can think of one thing that we could do right now.
[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, what's that?
[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_03]: We're talking poof point today.
[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right, poof point.
[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_03]: It's the name of the movie.
[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_03]: And you got to sit down with some sort of treat before you dive into this movie.
[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_03]: And Erin, you've brought the perfect treat for us today.
[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_03]: What is it?
[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_00]: So I brought a cotton candy, martini.
[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_03]: So right now for those watching you are holding up one cup that is cotton candy and one cup that is blue.
[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Blue raspberry with simpatka.
[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[00:02:20] [SPEAKER_03]: So how do you...
[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_00]: There's also a strawberry lemonade.
[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_03]: What's in that?
[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_03]: What's in that?
[00:02:25] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean I like blue raspberry.
[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_00]: This is strawberry lemonade.
[00:02:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh!
[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh!
[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Can I have the blue one?
[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.
[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_02]: So what's...
[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_02]: So you're going to pour that into the cotton candy?
[00:02:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And the cotton candy should go poof.
[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_02]: What'd you do here?
[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my gosh!
[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_03]: You thought this through.
[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_03]: What is it?
[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_03]: It's blue raspberry soda and vodka.
[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_03]: And then cotton candy, store-bought cotton candy.
[00:02:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_03]: That's it.
[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_03]: And it should dissolve.
[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I should have maybe brought a spoon but...
[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my goodness.
[00:02:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Look at that.
[00:02:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my gosh.
[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_02]: How about that?
[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Watch on the YouTube's game.
[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_03]: That was something.
[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_03]: This is your best work.
[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Your finest...
[00:03:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Really, really good stuff.
[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_03]: As far as like getting to the heart...
[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Just like that.
[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Getting to the heart of the movie.
[00:03:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I really think you knocked it out of the parking.
[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_03]: We should have had a countdown from 2.26 where all good countdown starts.
[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Two minutes, 26 seconds until cotton candy.
[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my!
[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_02]: That tastes like a sweet, sweet snow cone and I don't want any part of it.
[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I love the bit.
[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_00]: It is very sweet but yeah.
[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I just wowed it.
[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Poof points.
[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Poof points.
[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_02]: That is...
[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my...
[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Really great work.
[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you need an app?
[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Really great work.
[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm good.
[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you though.
[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just gonna get some water.
[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_03]: I like how all three of them are different colors too which is really cool.
[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know how that happened.
[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I think this one had more yellow than cotton candy.
[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Amazing.
[00:03:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Can I try yours?
[00:03:45] Yeah.
[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_02]: That's mine but you can try it.
[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's what I was talking about because you didn't want any more.
[00:03:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Sure then.
[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_02]: You won't drink the whole thing right now.
[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Go!
[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Go!
[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Go!
[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Go!
[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Go!
[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Go!
[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Go!
[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Ducks!
[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Dude, that makes me sick to watch you do that.
[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Makes me sick to my stomach.
[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah!
[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm unstoppable!
[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's podcast!
[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_03]: The words of Sia.
[00:04:14] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm unstoppable.
[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm a Porsche with no brakes.
[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm only unstoppable in the month of August.
[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Which is now.
[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_03]: That was crazy.
[00:04:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Man, what a rush.
[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_03]: What a rush that was.
[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_03]: We're talking Poof Point today.
[00:04:28] [SPEAKER_03]: I think number 31, is that correct?
[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Number 31?
[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Sure, yeah.
[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I think it's number 31.
[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_03]: And we're going to get to it right after this break.
[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_03]: 32.
[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_03]: How about what?
[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Really?
[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_03]: How about that?
[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_03]: 32.
[00:04:40] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll talk about it right after this break here on...
[00:04:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Decom Descendants!
[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Welcome back everybody to Decom Descendants.
[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_02]: This is a 30 second movie.
[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_02]: That is right.
[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_02]: So you were one of what?
[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh 30.
[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_03]: I thought you said this is a 30 second movie.
[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_03]: No, it's kind of.
[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Kind of, yes.
[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a Buck 19.
[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_03]: It's not long.
[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_03]: That's for sure.
[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Poof Points.
[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Now, Aaron, while we were watching this movie,
[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_03]: you came to the realization that this wasn't the movie
[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_03]: that you thought it was because you were thinking of...
[00:05:22] [SPEAKER_00]: 17 Again, but not the Zac Efron.
[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_03]: And tell everybody about all the fun facts you found out
[00:05:27] [SPEAKER_03]: about 17 Again and the history of its release.
[00:05:29] [SPEAKER_02]: We were getting this movie ready.
[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_02]: You were like, I've seen this movie multiple times.
[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I have seen this.
[00:05:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I have seen the Poof Point.
[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's just on me and my 10 year old brain
[00:05:39] [SPEAKER_00]: that Taj Mahori made two...
[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Aaron's brain is older than 10.
[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_02]: We want to be very, very clear.
[00:05:44] [SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, but like my brain at 10
[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_00]: saw two different Taj Mahori movies
[00:05:48] [SPEAKER_00]: in which there is science and aging involved.
[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And I just meshed them together.
[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's more than fair.
[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Is one movie.
[00:05:58] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like Sinbad and the Jeannie movie.
[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_00]: So 17 Again is where the grandparents
[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_00]: physically get younger.
[00:06:07] [SPEAKER_00]: And Taj, because Taj was doing an experiment
[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_00]: and it went wrong.
[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_00]: And in this one, we'll get there.
[00:06:13] [SPEAKER_00]: But no one physically changes.
[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a mental change.
[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_00]: So I just kept waiting for that to happen.
[00:06:20] [SPEAKER_00]: And because I was like, when are Tia and Tamara
[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_00]: showing up?
[00:06:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Because they're in 17 Again.
[00:06:25] [SPEAKER_00]: No dice.
[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_00]: And they never showed up.
[00:06:27] [SPEAKER_00]: He has a sister in this video.
[00:06:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it turns out showtime.
[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Showtime.
[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Showtime.
[00:06:33] [SPEAKER_00]: But then they were giving it away for free
[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_00]: on the Sister Sister box set.
[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Which we all own our own copy of.
[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_00]: For sure.
[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Physical media.
[00:06:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's a show that I want to rewatch.
[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_00]: So that was...
[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Over and over again?
[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Not this movie.
[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_03]: No.
[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_03]: This is The Poof Point,
[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_03]: which originally premiered on September 14th, 2001.
[00:06:53] [SPEAKER_03]: It was written by Stu Kreiger,
[00:06:56] [SPEAKER_03]: directed by Neil Israel.
[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_03]: We know Neil Israel because he also directed...
[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Hounded another Taj Mahori vehicle.
[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Also, this movie answers the question you asked last week
[00:07:09] [SPEAKER_02]: about did they slow down after 9-11?
[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_03]: They did not.
[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Poof Point came out three days after.
[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Which is interesting.
[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_03]: An interesting time in history for sure.
[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Starring Taj Mahori.
[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Did he really thought that this would heal or...
[00:07:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Heal our hearts.
[00:07:22] [SPEAKER_03]: This is the movie...
[00:07:23] [SPEAKER_03]: You can begin the process.
[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_03]: The younger generation needs...
[00:07:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Right now is Poof Point.
[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Taj Mahori, Raquel Lee, Don Lewis, Mark Curry,
[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_03]: is in this movie,
[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_03]: and Ryan Seaman.
[00:07:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
[00:07:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Ryan Seaman was in there.
[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Was he?
[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Are you okay, Brian?
[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_01]: You ever read something for the first time?
[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't look at it ahead of time.
[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_01]: The word Seaman?
[00:07:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not the only word that he has learned
[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_00]: for the first time today.
[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_03]: I learned so much today.
[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_03]: We don't need to get into that.
[00:08:03] [SPEAKER_00]: We don't need to get into that.
[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Let's talk Poof Point.
[00:08:08] [SPEAKER_03]: You had seen it.
[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_03]: I think I had seen it once,
[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_03]: but Dan, I'm going to go out on a limb
[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_03]: and say you didn't watch this one.
[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Haven't gotten to this one.
[00:08:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Did not book that one.
[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_02]: No, sorry.
[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Are we ready?
[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Here we go.
[00:08:23] [SPEAKER_02]: So we're talking Poof Point.
[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a Poof Point.
[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_03]: How are you there?
[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_03]: It was as clear as crystal.
[00:08:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Still recovering.
[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Eddie and Marie are just your average teenage siblings.
[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_03]: They happen to have two genius parents.
[00:08:41] [SPEAKER_03]: One of them is Mr. Cooper.
[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Norton and Marigolds are their parents,
[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_03]: and they are, we know this because they say their age.
[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_03]: They're 40-year-old scientists
[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_03]: that are working on time machine.
[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, time trial.
[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_03]: In their basement.
[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_03]: This is, yeah, it's not restricted by...
[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the community is amazing.
[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Amazing.
[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_03]: I would love to work in my basement
[00:09:05] [SPEAKER_03]: or maybe in my back shed.
[00:09:09] [SPEAKER_03]: And they go down to their basement
[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_03]: and they are working on this.
[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_03]: It's clearly not government regulated.
[00:09:14] [SPEAKER_03]: It is not funded by any school or anything.
[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_03]: It's not any sort of regulated.
[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_03]: It is something that they're given a shot.
[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_02]: No other codes being there.
[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_03]: They're given a shot.
[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_03]: They do have some neighbors that think that they are irresponsible
[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_03]: because all they care about is science
[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_03]: and they just do whatever their kids are out of control, blah, blah.
[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_03]: And maybe they're right
[00:09:36] [SPEAKER_03]: because these two people have built a time machine in their basement.
[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe they're white.
[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe they're white.
[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_03]: That's exactly right.
[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_03]: If you knew that your neighbor,
[00:09:46] [SPEAKER_03]: your next door neighbor was working on a time machine
[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_03]: that they're just going to give it a go one day.
[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_03]: You might also, but they don't actually know that.
[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_03]: They just think that they're just not good people,
[00:09:55] [SPEAKER_03]: which is messed up, man.
[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_00]: They just know there's doing experiments in the basement
[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_00]: and it's causing like explosions all over the neighborhood.
[00:10:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, rumbles and whatnot.
[00:10:01] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_03]: So they go to downstairs to run the experiments.
[00:10:09] [SPEAKER_03]: They type in all the things, z plus three plus all the stuff.
[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_03]: That's exactly right.
[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_03]: All this stuff that you got to do.
[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you got to do it in there.
[00:10:16] [SPEAKER_03]: And they are going to...
[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not only science though.
[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_03]: They are going to attempt to send back two Goldfish
[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_03]: back to the 1860s.
[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Which too.
[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Which they will be able to prove for sure.
[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Because I do they think the Goldfish are coming back with like...
[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Top hats them off.
[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Good day.
[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Good day.
[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh.
[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_01]: That smile is back.
[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_02]: It's how the West was won.
[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
[00:10:44] [SPEAKER_02]: One of them is a railroad baron.
[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_03]: I've seen some things.
[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Would watch a Goldfish railroad baron show.
[00:10:52] [SPEAKER_03]: So they are getting ready to do this thing.
[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_00]: You're trying to show where the Goldfish is trying
[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_00]: to teach children about history.
[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Hi kids.
[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_00]: It's me, Goldy.
[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_03]: They go to the moon.
[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_03]: And so they are...
[00:11:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Somebody did you know?
[00:11:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Amen brother.
[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Amen.
[00:11:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Talk about a poof point.
[00:11:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh my gosh.
[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_02]: All that footage.
[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Gone.
[00:11:18] [SPEAKER_03]: You're right, Dano.
[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_03]: So they are getting ready to do this experiment.
[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_03]: They have a dog.
[00:11:25] [SPEAKER_03]: His name is Einstein.
[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Dad does not care about the dog.
[00:11:29] [SPEAKER_03]: And it's a...
[00:11:30] [SPEAKER_03]: It's probably the saddest story line we've had
[00:11:32] [SPEAKER_03]: in a D-com so far.
[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Is the relationship between...
[00:11:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I like how you talk about your cat.
[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh gosh, I love that thing.
[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Rest in peace obviously.
[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Obviously.
[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_03]: So...
[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_03]: What?
[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_03]: If we can't keep the cat.
[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Then it will die.
[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_03]: In our hearts.
[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_02]: If the cat can't stay with you,
[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_02]: it'll die in your heart.
[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's like losing a loved one.
[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_02]: No.
[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_03]: I'll say there's ice in here.
[00:11:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Ice is so cool.
[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_02]: It would go great with a cold farted pizza outside.
[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't think there was ice in it earlier.
[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't know where it came from.
[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_00]: It was in there the whole time.
[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_03]: The whole time.
[00:12:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Poof point.
[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_03]: This is a reverse poof point.
[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_03]: It's make an ice appear.
[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Ice is the original poof point.
[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_03]: If you think about it.
[00:12:15] [SPEAKER_02]: If you give it enough time.
[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Do you have one vodka drink
[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_02]: and now you're drunk, friend?
[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I took a vodka drink.
[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_03]: I took an ice cube drink.
[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_03]: So they have a dog.
[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_03]: And the dog goes and begins to goof around
[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_03]: around the equipment.
[00:12:30] [SPEAKER_03]: The dog sees a cockroach.
[00:12:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, that's right.
[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_03]: And chases the cockroach.
[00:12:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Which knocks.
[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_00]: It goes under the time machine.
[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, which with the dog, I guess.
[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_00]: You want to do this?
[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_02]: You go ahead.
[00:12:42] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I think you should do it.
[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I wasn't saying like you're interrupting.
[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm saying like he clearly didn't watch the movie.
[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_00]: No, I think he's doing it.
[00:12:49] [SPEAKER_00]: What are you talking about?
[00:12:49] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm just here to put in some fine details.
[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_02]: You said he started to horse around,
[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_02]: which is not true.
[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_02]: He was following a cockroach.
[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_02]: He was hunting.
[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_02]: You don't think that's horsing around?
[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_02]: No.
[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_03]: He was trying to, he was trying to
[00:12:58] [SPEAKER_03]: he was worrying about the cockroach.
[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_00]: He was trying to protect his family.
[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_03]: I think he's goofing around.
[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Playing around.
[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Couldn't have been more locked in.
[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_00]: What you should do when you're about to
[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_00]: attempt time travel for the first time.
[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Let your dog.
[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_00]: He's not like put a leash on your dog.
[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_00]: You just let him free roam.
[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Hop on the equipment.
[00:13:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Cool, yeah.
[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_00]: For sure.
[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it works out 100% of the time.
[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Ultimately, the vector modulator.
[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_03]: How's that for paying attention?
[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Was knocked out and the dog grabs it.
[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_03]: It does in the dog's defense.
[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_00]: It sounded like look at camera too.
[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Kindly.
[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_03]: It does look a lot like a dog toy.
[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Like one of those things.
[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Inconveniently looks like,
[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_02]: really looks like a dog.
[00:13:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Unfortunately.
[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And he takes it.
[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_00]: The thing you put like the peanut butter in?
[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Kong.
[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Kong.
[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Kong.
[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Kong.
[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Kong.
[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Kong.
[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_03]: It's actually an important piece of equipment.
[00:13:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Without it, you might think the machine is not able to work at
[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_03]: all, but it is able to work.
[00:14:03] [SPEAKER_03]: It just changes the operation.
[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Instead of time travel,
[00:14:09] [SPEAKER_03]: they think that nothing happens.
[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't modulate the vectors.
[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_02]: It still works.
[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_02]: There's no vector modulation.
[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_03]: No vector to be modulated at all.
[00:14:15] [SPEAKER_00]: The vectors are modulated.
[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_03]: That's exactly right.
[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_03]: And everybody knows when you do time travel.
[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_03]: on what, yes.
[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a poof point situation.
[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_03]: You think they would have found a workaround like it?
[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_03]: They would have.
[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_03]: It seems like worst case scenario,
[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_03]: poof point is pretty bad.
[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_03]: But anyway, they look at the Goldfisher,
[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_03]: like the Goldfisher still here,
[00:14:32] [SPEAKER_03]: they're not a monocle in sight,
[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_03]: they didn't time travel.
[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Unfortunately for the parents,
[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_03]: they have to go to their children's graduation ceremony.
[00:14:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, bummer.
[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_03]: And they do seem very annoyed by it.
[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_03]: They do bring a laptop so they can work on the...
[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Work the whole time.
[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Because something must have,
[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_03]: they must have had the wrong, you know...
[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Vector or modulation or code.
[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Probably not enough Xs.
[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Or squares.
[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_03]: And so they are at the graduation doing the thing.
[00:15:00] [SPEAKER_03]: After the graduation,
[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_03]: dad does like shows off how science is cool,
[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_03]: ends up lighting the principal's hat on fire.
[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a fun bit.
[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a whole charade.
[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't really know what he was trying to show the kids.
[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think the kids cared.
[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I think he was just like, look at this science thing.
[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_00]: But he was like,
[00:15:21] [SPEAKER_00]: we really got those kids fired up about science
[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_00]: and I don't know what you were trying to do.
[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_02]: To say that Mark Curry and whoever it is
[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_02]: that plays his wife or out of touch is an understatement
[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_02]: and people like that are like that their whole lives.
[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Like they don't just become like that in their 40s.
[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, that may be a good note
[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_02]: to have for later in this movie.
[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_03]: They do get home and they go back down
[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_03]: because they're gonna try to mess around with the equipment
[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_03]: and our guy Eddie is very focused
[00:15:52] [SPEAKER_03]: on his upcoming audition for the Urban Slugs.
[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_03]: He's gonna play, I would assume electric guitar
[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_03]: because it's all that he plays.
[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Is that that teenage boy band
[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_02]: with the adult woman lead singer?
[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, that one.
[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, we're talking, yeah, the Urban Slugs.
[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_03]: And so he's auditioning for or he's messing around
[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_03]: playing a thing and all that good stuff.
[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_03]: And while they're down there,
[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_03]: they begin to, they're like,
[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_03]: let's do the experiment again
[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_03]: and try to see if maybe we can understand what happened
[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_03]: because when they get back,
[00:16:24] [SPEAKER_03]: the Goldfish are gone altogether.
[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_03]: They have no idea what happened.
[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe it was a delayed reaction.
[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Something's going on that's causing these fish
[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_03]: to be gone now.
[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_03]: They're not aware of proof points yet.
[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they're not aware of where they reached proof point yet.
[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, they think it was a delayed time travel.
[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_03]: And so they go to do it again,
[00:16:47] [SPEAKER_03]: but mom is standing really close,
[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_03]: it's way too close to where the experiment is taking place.
[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_00]: They go get the other Goldfish
[00:16:55] [SPEAKER_00]: because they just have a whole rack
[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_00]: of just Goldfish for their experiments.
[00:16:59] [SPEAKER_02]: A lot of scientists kill rats.
[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_02]: They kill Goldfish.
[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_02]: That's true, that's true.
[00:17:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:17:04] [SPEAKER_00]: And ultimately-
[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And mom doesn't move out of the way of the-
[00:17:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, so she-
[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Being vector B.
[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_03]: She gets zapped, I guess.
[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_03]: And dad sees this ghost to try to save her
[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_03]: is also now in the path of Zappery.
[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Saw them live by the way.
[00:17:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Path of Zappery was so good, too, but it's a lot.
[00:17:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, my ears were bleeding by the end of that show.
[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Amazing laser show.
[00:17:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Was that just Brian Harold's drumming band?
[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_02]: That's Path of Zappery, that's right.
[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly.
[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_03]: It's really good.
[00:17:28] [SPEAKER_03]: And so they're like, what's going on?
[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_03]: How's this happening?
[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_03]: And they get zapped
[00:17:36] [SPEAKER_03]: and when they come to,
[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_03]: they are now 21 years old.
[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_00]: And they look 21.
[00:17:44] [SPEAKER_03]: No, they do not.
[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_03]: They look 21 to themselves.
[00:17:47] [SPEAKER_03]: When they look in the mirror,
[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_03]: they look 21 to themselves,
[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_03]: but we still see them as 40-year-olds.
[00:17:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Their parents come down,
[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_03]: they see them-
[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_00]: The kids come down.
[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, the kids come down and see their parents.
[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Their parents are not involved.
[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_03]: No.
[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Where does Seaman get involved?
[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Ryan, the actor, Ryan Seaman,
[00:18:01] [SPEAKER_03]: when does he get involved?
[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_03]: I wish I had that answer.
[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_03]: I think he might be in the urban slugs, if I'm honest.
[00:18:09] Okay.
[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_03]: He might be one of the slugs.
[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_03]: And so they come down,
[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_03]: they see their parents
[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_03]: and they're like, oh my gosh, what's going on?
[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_03]: And their parents start acting weird.
[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_03]: They go ahead.
[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_03]: He's Gabe.
[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, that narrows it down.
[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_03]: It was Gabe the guy
[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_03]: that was crushing on the sister at the party?
[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Or was Gabe the guy
[00:18:28] [SPEAKER_02]: that wants them to try out for the-
[00:18:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Could be anything.
[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Gabe could be-
[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Could be Buster.
[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Could be Joe.
[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_03]: That's true.
[00:18:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Could be any white man.
[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_03]: And so it takes a little bit before they realize
[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_03]: that their parents are now 21,
[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_03]: that something has happened
[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_03]: and their parents don't know who they are
[00:18:47] [SPEAKER_03]: so they're like trying to convince them
[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_03]: that they are now 21 years old.
[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, mom thinks for sure
[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_00]: that this is just a prank.
[00:18:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Mom, dad, is this a joke?
[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_03]: And so it is a lot of like,
[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_03]: how did your grandma-
[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Convince you to do this?
[00:19:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:19:04] [SPEAKER_03]: How did my mom convince you?
[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_02]: She hired some children
[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_02]: to act like the kids she wants me to name.
[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, that's what's going on here.
[00:19:14] [SPEAKER_02]: It's clearly, they're not right.
[00:19:16] [SPEAKER_02]: It's clear that my mom has hired children
[00:19:19] [SPEAKER_02]: to play characters, name the names
[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_02]: she would like for me to name my kids.
[00:19:26] [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no.
[00:19:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Norton and Marigold talk about
[00:19:28] [SPEAKER_00]: my mom knows the names that we've set aside
[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_00]: for our children.
[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_03]: But I'm not doing it until I'm finished with schooling.
[00:19:34] [SPEAKER_03]: And my mom thinks-
[00:19:34] [SPEAKER_02]: I thought she didn't wanna name them that
[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_02]: and her mom did, okay.
[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_00]: She didn't or instead those names aside
[00:19:38] [SPEAKER_00]: for their future kids.
[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_00]: But she didn't want to start having a family
[00:19:41] [SPEAKER_00]: until she finished her doctorate.
[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_00]: And her mom is like running out of time.
[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Like you should have kids now.
[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_03]: You know as-
[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_00]: You know how moms do.
[00:19:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:19:49] [SPEAKER_03]: It's classic mom stuff.
[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Classic mom stuff.
[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_03]: They do ultimately end up convincing them
[00:19:53] [SPEAKER_03]: that they need to figure out the fix for this thing.
[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Otherwise, poof point.
[00:19:58] [SPEAKER_03]: And so they're going over the math.
[00:20:01] [SPEAKER_03]: They still don't, no one knows still
[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_03]: that this part is missing.
[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_03]: No one's come to that conclusion.
[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Take a drink of your cotton candy martini
[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_00]: every time one of us says poof point.
[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Poof point.
[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_02]: You guys are gonna be wasted.
[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_02]: And they did calculate-
[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_02]: You're not even making dinner tonight.
[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_02]: You won't know if I'm there or not.
[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_03]: They were able to calculate how long it'll take
[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_03]: and it'll be before poof point.
[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_03]: And I don't actually remember
[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_03]: how they came to that calculation.
[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_03]: But they have 30 hours to figure out.
[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_02]: They did the math.
[00:20:30] [SPEAKER_02]: They did the math.
[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_02]: The fish took six seconds, 30 hours for adults.
[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just a clear six second to 30 hours ratio.
[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Easy peasy.
[00:20:39] [SPEAKER_02]: So poof point ratio.
[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_00]: When you carry the variable.
[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_03]: And the vector.
[00:20:43] [SPEAKER_03]: When you got a vector madness.
[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_03]: It's vector madness.
[00:20:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Vector madness.
[00:20:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Vector poof.
[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_00]: We're all science-y.
[00:20:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Now the big takeaway when they're 21
[00:20:52] [SPEAKER_03]: is that they are a bit cooler than they are when they're 40.
[00:20:58] [SPEAKER_03]: They talk completely different.
[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Talk differently, but they're still very much
[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_03]: into like science and all that stuff.
[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_03]: And you're like, okay, they're 20 year olds.
[00:21:07] [SPEAKER_03]: When they in seven hours,
[00:21:10] [SPEAKER_03]: they turn into 14 year olds.
[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:21:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Versions of themselves.
[00:21:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Right before they do that,
[00:21:15] [SPEAKER_02]: it appears that the mom does solve it.
[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Like she's like, I found out the thing that we need
[00:21:20] [SPEAKER_02]: but we've got to find the vector module.
[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_02]: And then they right after that, they turn it.
[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_02]: That's tough.
[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_03]: 14, yes.
[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_03]: That's tough.
[00:21:27] [SPEAKER_03]: They turn into 14 year old themselves
[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_03]: and it's completely, they're completely different people.
[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Like dad shreds the guitar.
[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Like it's able to guitar behind his neck
[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_03]: and his son who has taken an interest in music
[00:21:41] [SPEAKER_03]: has no idea that his dad
[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_03]: when he was 14 year old absolutely shreds.
[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_00]: All those hours that Tash has been playing
[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_00]: in the guitar around the house.
[00:21:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Dad never comes in.
[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember when I did that.
[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_02]: No, nothing.
[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_02]: He hates the dog and his kids basically.
[00:21:55] [SPEAKER_02]: They don't even pay attention to graduation.
[00:21:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Bro, laptop or graduation?
[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Tash is on stage with his eighth grade diploma,
[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_00]: looks out in the crowd,
[00:22:03] [SPEAKER_00]: sees his parents just not watching.
[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_02]: To be fair, they're bad parents.
[00:22:08] [SPEAKER_02]: The middle school graduation guys.
[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Middle school graduate.
[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Listen, bring the laptop
[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_00]: but at least look up when your kid's on stage.
[00:22:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_02]: You gotta get some high-color contact there.
[00:22:20] [SPEAKER_00]: For sure.
[00:22:21] [SPEAKER_00]: But that one minute you shouldn't be in.
[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_03]: So they end up like they see each other.
[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_03]: There's a, they like each other.
[00:22:30] [SPEAKER_03]: A four-year-old version of themselves.
[00:22:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Like it's like a...
[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like a classic freshman in high school.
[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Like I like him.
[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_02]: But fun of each other and like...
[00:22:39] [SPEAKER_03]: He's intimidated by how good I am at science.
[00:22:43] [SPEAKER_02]: She thinks she's as smart as me.
[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Classic guy girl stuff.
[00:22:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Dad's also really good at the bike.
[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_03]: He's able to do some tricks and stuff.
[00:22:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Which is a lot of fun for him.
[00:22:54] [SPEAKER_03]: They go this diner and while at the diner,
[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_03]: I think mom accidentally tells
[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_03]: some one of the other teenagers in there.
[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Who is Marie's nemesis?
[00:23:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Like Arch nemesis.
[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_03]: And they took that and said,
[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_03]: let's have a party basically.
[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Like hey...
[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Somehow 14-year-old mom remembered that Taj
[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_00]: has an audition for the Urban Slugs at three.
[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_00]: And mom even knew that,
[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_00]: because we didn't know that the audition,
[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Urban Slugs were coming to Taj's house.
[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah and they do that.
[00:23:29] [SPEAKER_02]: They're above and beyond.
[00:23:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I've never done an audition to play in a band.
[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_00]: But I would assume that if I was trying
[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_00]: to be in your band, I would come to you.
[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_02]: It is not practice space or whatever.
[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah and it would be a practice space.
[00:23:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Not a concert.
[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_00]: They're at the diner and Chloe is saying,
[00:23:44] [SPEAKER_00]: she's going to her two friends,
[00:23:45] [SPEAKER_00]: somebody I don't know and Kelsey from High School Musical.
[00:23:48] [SPEAKER_00]: And she's like, we're gonna tell everyone...
[00:23:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Somebody I don't know and someone else I don't know,
[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_02]: but did play Kelsey in High School Musical.
[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Listen, it's Kelsey from High School Musical.
[00:23:57] [SPEAKER_03]: You're love of Kelsey is absurd.
[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_03]: She's an unrespected character
[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_03]: in the High School Musical universe.
[00:24:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Whatever.
[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, the point is...
[00:24:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Did you say whatever to Kelsey?
[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_00]: No to him.
[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh you were, okay good.
[00:24:09] [SPEAKER_03]: I thought you were with him on that.
[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh no.
[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_03]: It's like I didn't even know who you were for a second.
[00:24:12] [SPEAKER_00]: He's the playmaker.
[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes!
[00:24:14] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a bad play.
[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_00]: The composer of the musical is like the playmaker.
[00:24:17] [SPEAKER_03]: It's like you have this star wide receiver,
[00:24:19] [SPEAKER_03]: but he never gives credit to the quarterback.
[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Kelsey's the quarterback.
[00:24:22] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll get to it.
[00:24:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Tell me about it.
[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Hudgens and Efron are not the...
[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_02]: One of those two is not the quarterback?
[00:24:28] [SPEAKER_03]: One's wide receiver, one's running back.
[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_03]: That's absurd.
[00:24:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah they met while doing karaoke.
[00:24:33] [SPEAKER_03]: That part of the story is still true.
[00:24:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay got it.
[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_03]: At our New Year's Eve kids party.
[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, the point of this is
[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Chloe's telling her friends
[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_00]: that about this audition that's happening
[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_00]: and she's like we're gonna tell everyone
[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_00]: that it's a party.
[00:24:42] [SPEAKER_00]: And I just thought, cool the urban slugs
[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_00]: must rehearse in like a space
[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_00]: that they're just gonna have a party in.
[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_02]: The slug zone.
[00:24:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Slug zone.
[00:24:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah that's what it's called.
[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_00]: What a wasted opportunity.
[00:24:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I know.
[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_00]: And no, it's a party at the house.
[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_03]: So they take this and they say
[00:24:58] [SPEAKER_03]: well they're gonna be having this little
[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_03]: get together for the audition.
[00:25:01] [SPEAKER_03]: We might as well make it a huge party.
[00:25:02] [SPEAKER_03]: There's gonna be music.
[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_03]: And so they invite the entire town.
[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Literally the entire town.
[00:25:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[00:25:08] [SPEAKER_03]: You might be wondering,
[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_03]: uh oh they're running out of time.
[00:25:11] [SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't seem like they're working hard enough.
[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Mom and dad dying at all.
[00:25:15] [SPEAKER_02]: They can't find them for a while.
[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_02]: The neighbors are getting mad.
[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_02]: They're trying to figure out the formula
[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_02]: and they're trying to find the modulator.
[00:25:23] [SPEAKER_02]: It's all not looking great.
[00:25:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Not looking great there for the old.
[00:25:27] [SPEAKER_03]: And I gotta be honest.
[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_03]: If this was happening in my life
[00:25:30] [SPEAKER_03]: and I had an audition at 3 p.m.
[00:25:33] [SPEAKER_03]: for the slug and you don't want to
[00:25:35] [SPEAKER_03]: postpone a slug audition.
[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_03]: But if your parents are on the verge of poof point
[00:25:39] [SPEAKER_03]: you have to postpone the slug audition.
[00:25:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Your favorite band when you were 14?
[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:25:43] [SPEAKER_02]: What's your favorite band?
[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh probably Reliant K, easy.
[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_02]: You get to audition for Reliant K.
[00:25:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Ooh!
[00:25:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Your parents, you know.
[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's one o'clock right now.
[00:25:52] [SPEAKER_02]: You can audition in two hours.
[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Your parents, if you don't solve it
[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_02]: have eight hours to live.
[00:25:56] [SPEAKER_02]: You going a quick shred with Tee-sun and the boys?
[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_02]: That's really tough.
[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_02]: That's really tough.
[00:26:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Because I think you and I both know
[00:26:05] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not solving this problem.
[00:26:06] [SPEAKER_03]: And also, yeah, you're the fifth of five.
[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_02]: You're like, you're gonna leave it in the hands of Jesse
[00:26:12] [SPEAKER_02]: and you're gonna take a hike.
[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not gonna be able to solve the poof point dilemma.
[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_03]: So I might as well shred with Tee-sun and the gang.
[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:26:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_03]: I thought you might.
[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_00]: I do think at this point they're still trying
[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_00]: to solve the problem.
[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_03]: There's nothing I can do.
[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_00]: I think 14 year old parents
[00:26:29] [SPEAKER_00]: are who discover that a piece is missing.
[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_00]: I think the 21 year old.
[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Stace finally decided to look at the thing
[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_03]: that's like how it's supposed to be.
[00:26:38] [SPEAKER_03]: And they're like, hey, there's something missing here.
[00:26:39] [SPEAKER_03]: We gotta find this thing.
[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_03]: And then the kids when they turned seven.
[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_03]: So they discover this thing.
[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_03]: They can't find the part.
[00:26:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Everybody begins to show up for the party.
[00:26:49] [SPEAKER_03]: And so now you have to press pause
[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_03]: on finding the part situation.
[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_03]: That's like their parents' law.
[00:26:54] [SPEAKER_00]: And the urban slugs are here.
[00:26:55] [SPEAKER_00]: So I might as well audition.
[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you might as well.
[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_03]: He is gonna audition on bass guitar.
[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Have we seen him play the bass guitar at all?
[00:27:00] [SPEAKER_03]: No.
[00:27:01] [SPEAKER_03]: In this movie?
[00:27:01] [SPEAKER_03]: No.
[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_03]: He's been shredding entirely on the electric guitar.
[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_03]: The whole band is there.
[00:27:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Even an electric guitar.
[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_00]: He has an acoustic guitar as well.
[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_00]: That's true.
[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_03]: All six strings though is all I'm saying.
[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_03]: And then he just.
[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And then bass.
[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, to low.
[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's definitely not at this point
[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_00]: that the movie broke brand.
[00:27:19] [SPEAKER_03]: I was so mad.
[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Nothing else.
[00:27:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Everything else about this movie tracked.
[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_03]: I was like, yeah.
[00:27:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Every other D-Con that we've seen so far above board.
[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_00]: But him only playing a guitar and then audition.
[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_03]: I just don't know why you would have him do that
[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_03]: is all I'm saying.
[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_02]: And what's why this is from the beginning
[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_02]: they do say bass.
[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Like they're like, I'm gonna audition to play bass.
[00:27:38] [SPEAKER_02]: They're clear about that.
[00:27:39] [SPEAKER_02]: And then they haven't played just guitar
[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_02]: all movie long, which is crazy.
[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's a move.
[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_03]: I was like maybe they misspoke.
[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_03]: You know?
[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe they don't know.
[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_03]: It was a goof.
[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Anyway.
[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_03]: It was a goof point.
[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_03]: It was a goof point.
[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_03]: It was a goof point.
[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Say it louder for the people in the back.
[00:27:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Say it one more time.
[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_01]: It was a goof point.
[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_03]: That's good.
[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_03]: So at the party, they do become seven year olds
[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_03]: and they start running around with the scooters
[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_03]: doing the whole thing.
[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Trying to break stuff.
[00:28:08] [SPEAKER_03]: There's a big floating ball thing.
[00:28:11] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't actually know what that is.
[00:28:12] [SPEAKER_03]: There is a kid.
[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Some sort of experiment that the dad brings up
[00:28:15] [SPEAKER_00]: and they just wrecks havoc.
[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_03]: There is the stoner that is there.
[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_03]: You know he's a stoner because he has dreads.
[00:28:20] [SPEAKER_03]: He's a white dude with dreads.
[00:28:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, listen, your hands are tied.
[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, actually, there aren't even dreads.
[00:28:25] [SPEAKER_00]: They're cornrows.
[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Like it's a bunch of braids all the time.
[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_03]: As someone who had an Afro in high school
[00:28:30] [SPEAKER_03]: that dreaded, you know, a lot of it was dreaded.
[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_03]: I was everyone thought I was high all the time.
[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_03]: So I get it.
[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Listen, we still think that fair.
[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_03]: It's fair.
[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_03]: High on life, baby.
[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_03]: This planet rules.
[00:28:42] Yeah.
[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Proof point.
[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, there are a few things
[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_00]: that went back from lunch the other day
[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_00]: that you might have been.
[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, could be.
[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Never.
[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_03]: All I'm saying is never stop learning.
[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_03]: And never be so proud.
[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_00]: It would also explain the keys.
[00:28:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Holy cow.
[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_02]: All I'm saying is you're never.
[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_02]: The only thing that can explain
[00:29:00] [SPEAKER_03]: you're never too old to keep learning.
[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_02]: That still doesn't make sense.
[00:29:04] [SPEAKER_03]: And don't be so proud.
[00:29:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Doesn't make sense.
[00:29:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Don't be so proud to admit
[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_03]: when you just learned something new,
[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_03]: even if it's silly.
[00:29:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, of course.
[00:29:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Because I think it's awesome
[00:29:14] [SPEAKER_03]: when people learn.
[00:29:15] [SPEAKER_00]: You learning something new on my birthday
[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_00]: is going to make that my favorite birthday.
[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm competing with the pizza restaurant
[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_03]: on the field.
[00:29:23] [SPEAKER_02]: It's pretty.
[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_02]: This is amazing.
[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Aaron's one of Aaron's birthdays.
[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_02]: They invented an outdoor pizza.
[00:29:28] [SPEAKER_00]: And I never claimed that they did.
[00:29:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Dan just can't have joy.
[00:29:35] [SPEAKER_03]: At least her massive fridges friends
[00:29:37] [SPEAKER_03]: came at the end of the story
[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_03]: as I was anticipating it happening.
[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_03]: A lot of inside baseball happened right now.
[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_03]: None of it works for the pod.
[00:29:45] [SPEAKER_03]: So they're running it.
[00:29:47] [SPEAKER_03]: There's Havoc.
[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_03]: There is.
[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Sorry about this episode.
[00:29:49] [SPEAKER_03]: There is an urban slugs concert happening.
[00:29:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Urban slugs.
[00:29:53] [SPEAKER_03]: And he does play.
[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Is it an urban slugs cover band?
[00:29:56] [SPEAKER_03]: And it's going great.
[00:29:57] [SPEAKER_03]: But then, you know,
[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_03]: there's a bit of an incident going on.
[00:30:00] [SPEAKER_03]: And this might be semen.
[00:30:02] [SPEAKER_03]: He tells him, hey, man,
[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_03]: is there always going to be something like this
[00:30:06] [SPEAKER_03]: going on when we're supposed to be practicing?
[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_03]: And it's like that might be semen.
[00:30:09] [SPEAKER_03]: You're right.
[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Something happens to like the it's just getting out of control
[00:30:12] [SPEAKER_00]: and the sister has had enough.
[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Like good.
[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_00]: You've got to save mom and dad.
[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_00]: She comes up and is like, all right, you did it.
[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Cool.
[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Cool.
[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_00]: We have to go deal with this thing.
[00:30:22] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's when the guy is like,
[00:30:23] [SPEAKER_00]: is this always going to happen?
[00:30:26] [SPEAKER_00]: So every day of my life,
[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_00]: my parents are going to be in the middle of an experiment.
[00:30:28] [SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
[00:30:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, then they might poof.
[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_02]: White folks across the street call police.
[00:30:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:30:34] [SPEAKER_00]: The white that's exactly right.
[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_00]: You would on a house of black teenagers.
[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
[00:30:38] [SPEAKER_03]: But they there's their daughter.
[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_03]: They were shocked to find out
[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_03]: that her daughter was actually at the party.
[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_00]: daughter.
[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Lizzie would never be at a party like this.
[00:30:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Is it McGuire?
[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_00]: And then she's like, I'm not here.
[00:30:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's right.
[00:30:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm here.
[00:30:49] [SPEAKER_02]: My dad.
[00:30:49] [SPEAKER_02]: And then the police officers that don't say anything.
[00:30:52] [SPEAKER_02]: I know just what you're saying.
[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_02]: They decide they can't talk at all.
[00:30:55] [SPEAKER_02]: But the deal is struck where they're going to give them
[00:30:59] [SPEAKER_02]: another chance and nobody's going to do where the party's
[00:31:01] [SPEAKER_02]: going to be over if we cancel it right now.
[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, why the police are there because apparently
[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_00]: the neighbors are just in charge of everything
[00:31:07] [SPEAKER_00]: because the neighbors are like, we're evicting your parents.
[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_02]: White people, they took a vote.
[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_00]: And then they're like, well, we'll give you one more
[00:31:13] [SPEAKER_00]: chance if you shut this party down right now,
[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_00]: that's right, which the daughter has been trying to do.
[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_00]: So she's like, great.
[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Everyone's awesome.
[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Everybody get out of here.
[00:31:20] [SPEAKER_03]: By this point, though, things are,
[00:31:22] [SPEAKER_03]: can their parents are getting younger and younger,
[00:31:24] [SPEAKER_03]: quicker and quicker as the time is getting closer to zero?
[00:31:28] [SPEAKER_03]: They become two year olds.
[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_03]: And so they finally go back down to the.
[00:31:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Basement slash lab laboratory.
[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_03]: And they're being like, they're just being crazy,
[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_03]: their little popsicles and whatnot.
[00:31:46] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to go for a ride on the spaceship.
[00:31:48] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:31:48] [SPEAKER_03]: And dad sees the dog and is like, doggy
[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_03]: is really excited about the dog,
[00:31:53] [SPEAKER_03]: which dad has never been excited.
[00:31:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Two year old.
[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Two year old.
[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_03]: I thought they were closer to four.
[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't know there were two.
[00:31:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, at one point, they aren't sure.
[00:32:03] [SPEAKER_00]: And they when they find the mom sitting in the kitchen
[00:32:05] [SPEAKER_00]: covered in food, they ask her, how old are you?
[00:32:09] [SPEAKER_00]: And she holds up two hands.
[00:32:11] [SPEAKER_00]: He does the potty bit.
[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_00]: She goes this many.
[00:32:13] [SPEAKER_03]: He does the potty bit.
[00:32:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:32:14] [SPEAKER_01]: OK.
[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_01]: OK.
[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_03]: OK.
[00:32:16] [SPEAKER_03]: My bad.
[00:32:16] [SPEAKER_03]: So crawls over to the dog and that is when it is discovered
[00:32:21] [SPEAKER_03]: that always got the vector.
[00:32:22] [SPEAKER_00]: The part of the dog, a little bit of attention.
[00:32:25] [SPEAKER_00]: We get the killer line that Einstein has waited his whole life
[00:32:30] [SPEAKER_00]: for dad to pay attention to him.
[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And what a moment.
[00:32:34] [SPEAKER_01]: What a moment.
[00:32:34] [SPEAKER_00]: That they get so we've got darker and Einstein rewards
[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_00]: dad by giving him the vector module.
[00:32:40] [SPEAKER_02]: But also we find out that the daughter who's like,
[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't do this science stuff.
[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_02]: She cracks the mathematical formula and realizes
[00:32:48] [SPEAKER_02]: that it was formulated for gold vision.
[00:32:49] [SPEAKER_02]: They had never.
[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, because they were never supposed to calibrate it
[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_00]: for humans.
[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_00]: They were all they were re running the experiment.
[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Goldfish does the whole formula.
[00:32:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Bada bing, bada boom.
[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_00]: A bunch of numbers and letters out
[00:33:00] [SPEAKER_00]: and then the computer goes press enter.
[00:33:02] [SPEAKER_03]: They get him in after.
[00:33:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:33:04] [SPEAKER_03]: It's he there's about to get in and that dad has to go
[00:33:07] [SPEAKER_03]: to go potty.
[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_03]: So he goes potty makes it in just in time.
[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_03]: They press enter and they're saved.
[00:33:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:33:14] [SPEAKER_02]: They're saved point exterminated.
[00:33:16] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:33:16] [SPEAKER_03]: And you know now that now they're really close family.
[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Dad barbecue is inside plays plays guitar with his kids
[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_03]: sometimes and they're just a science loving family
[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_03]: and everybody's happy and poof point.
[00:33:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Poof point is is is done.
[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_03]: We poof point it to point.
[00:33:34] [SPEAKER_03]: We are going to take a quick break.
[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to come back.
[00:33:37] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to talk about our thoughts in this movie.
[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to make our list.
[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to check it twice and so much more here on
[00:33:42] [SPEAKER_04]: the condescending cat and here briefly.
[00:33:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Hi, everybody.
[00:34:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Welcome back to Decom descendants.
[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_03]: It's great to be here.
[00:34:03] [SPEAKER_03]: It is time to head an overtime.
[00:34:07] [SPEAKER_03]: That's where we're talking about our thoughts on this
[00:34:10] [SPEAKER_03]: move time to.
[00:34:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, damn it.
[00:34:12] [SPEAKER_00]: We really oversold that and we were like, we don't need
[00:34:15] [SPEAKER_00]: that.
[00:34:15] [SPEAKER_00]: We don't need that.
[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure.
[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:34:17] [SPEAKER_03]: No, I kept wanting to say make make the list.
[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_03]: And I'll let you know there's something else.
[00:34:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I remember it and this may help you if you want to take
[00:34:22] [SPEAKER_02]: a note.
[00:34:22] [SPEAKER_02]: It spells decompose for delish super comp chat over
[00:34:28] [SPEAKER_02]: overtime.
[00:34:28] [SPEAKER_03]: If I had said comp chat earlier, I think I would have
[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't say it or that was on me.
[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't say that.
[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_03]: We should say it over.
[00:34:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, put it in post.
[00:34:37] [SPEAKER_03]: I do have some reviews from Letterbox if you want it.
[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_03]: So we'll be like, sculpture.
[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Emily says this, you would think the weirdest thing
[00:34:46] [SPEAKER_03]: about this movie was the parents consistently
[00:34:48] [SPEAKER_03]: de-aging to the point of almost non-existence.
[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_03]: But you would be incorrect because this exchange
[00:34:54] [SPEAKER_03]: happens in this movie.
[00:34:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Who's the president of the United States?
[00:34:58] [SPEAKER_03]: The Ron man who are political hero Ronald Reagan.
[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_03]: I was going to bring it up.
[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Disney Channel.
[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_03]: I have so many questions.
[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_03]: So many questions.
[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_03]: M says constantly thinking about the scene where dad
[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_03]: says horsey, horsey.
[00:35:14] [SPEAKER_03]: I want to go horsey.
[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_03]: I need to go pee pee want to see and the impact
[00:35:18] [SPEAKER_03]: that that had on the history of cinema.
[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Three stars from Soylent Femmes.
[00:35:26] [SPEAKER_03]: That says this movie walks so that Benjamin Button could run.
[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Not wrong.
[00:35:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Adam said more like oof point.
[00:35:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Am I right?
[00:35:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Right there.
[00:35:36] [SPEAKER_02]: None of us said it.
[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, we forgot to mention the fact that this movie
[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_03]: ends with Taj acting like Bob Marley.
[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_03]: And that's unfortunate.
[00:35:45] [SPEAKER_03]: That is an oof point.
[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_03]: I was trying to forget about that.
[00:35:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Caleb does bring this up.
[00:35:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Caleb Benjamin says when he turned into Bob Marley,
[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_03]: I was so disappointed.
[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_03]: And Lego says one and a half star.
[00:35:56] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if it's the company,
[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_03]: somebody with the username who can say and they just said,
[00:36:00] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't care and didn't like this movie,
[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_03]: but would like to experience the poof point.
[00:36:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Imagine having the opportunity to disappear forever.
[00:36:09] [SPEAKER_03]: So sad.
[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_03]: It's time for our overtime.
[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_03]: We're talking about how we thought this movie
[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_03]: aged every time, where our thoughts on it
[00:36:18] [SPEAKER_03]: and all that good stuff.
[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_03]: And what do you think of the poof point?
[00:36:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know where you start.
[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Hijinks.
[00:36:28] [SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of hijinks.
[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_02]: So many hijinks.
[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I was thinking the movie was better than I originally remembered
[00:36:36] [SPEAKER_00]: because I forgot about the Bob Marley bit at the end
[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_00]: because at first he's just like, yeah,
[00:36:41] [SPEAKER_00]: now we time travel as a family and that sounded fun.
[00:36:44] [SPEAKER_00]: And he was just dressed like Bob Marley.
[00:36:46] [SPEAKER_00]: And like, I was like, that was cool.
[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_00]: He did the accent.
[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_00]: He almost got away without doing the accent.
[00:36:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, we could save it.
[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_00]: And he did the accent.
[00:36:54] [SPEAKER_00]: And I forgot that that's how the movie ended.
[00:36:56] [SPEAKER_00]: So that's tough.
[00:36:57] [SPEAKER_00]: That's rough.
[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I think really after watching this movie,
[00:37:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I just want to go watch 17 again, either version.
[00:37:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that poof point is going to be on my list
[00:37:10] [SPEAKER_00]: of D-coms that I'm rewatching anytime soon.
[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
[00:37:16] [SPEAKER_00]: It was funny, but I don't think it really hit the mark
[00:37:18] [SPEAKER_00]: for the de-aging.
[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_00]: You and I talked about what we were watching
[00:37:23] [SPEAKER_00]: and at least they weren't messing with a timeline.
[00:37:26] [SPEAKER_00]: And so therefore, they kind of got away
[00:37:29] [SPEAKER_00]: with not needing to establish a whole bunch
[00:37:31] [SPEAKER_00]: of like timeline rules, but I'm not quite sure
[00:37:35] [SPEAKER_00]: they had de-aging rules.
[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_00]: And that made it hard to follow how they're switching,
[00:37:39] [SPEAKER_00]: how they're de-aging.
[00:37:42] [SPEAKER_00]: They immediately went from 40 to 21
[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_00]: and then went in weird.
[00:37:48] [SPEAKER_02]: 21 and then from 21 to 14 and seven hours
[00:37:52] [SPEAKER_02]: and then 14 to seven in like eight or nine hours.
[00:37:56] [SPEAKER_02]: And it was a lot shorter.
[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Five hours at seven and then it was just like three, two, one.
[00:37:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Brrr.
[00:38:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Poof point.
[00:38:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Could it have been like a year, an hour?
[00:38:02] [SPEAKER_02]: It would have been so cool to watch them slowly
[00:38:05] [SPEAKER_02]: but surely lose the faculty of being able
[00:38:08] [SPEAKER_02]: to figure out what was wrong.
[00:38:09] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a great idea for a movie.
[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_00]: But they also never until they got to like seven,
[00:38:16] [SPEAKER_00]: even the four-year-old versions still like understood
[00:38:19] [SPEAKER_00]: the experiment.
[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know, it was fun for some hijinks
[00:38:24] [SPEAKER_00]: but I think once you're after eight, this movie's not great.
[00:38:28] [SPEAKER_03]: I really liked the idea of this movie
[00:38:31] [SPEAKER_03]: in a world of time travel movies.
[00:38:33] [SPEAKER_03]: I thought that this was a really clever variation of it.
[00:38:38] [SPEAKER_03]: And I thought that the like when they were kid
[00:38:42] [SPEAKER_03]: like when he said like a P.P. and stuff, that was funny.
[00:38:46] [SPEAKER_03]: He did a good job of being.
[00:38:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he said P.P. it was funny.
[00:38:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Braining gray.
[00:38:50] [SPEAKER_02]: DVD box.
[00:38:51] [SPEAKER_03]: It was funny.
[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_03]: They're just there.
[00:38:53] [SPEAKER_03]: The inconsistency in this movie is really,
[00:38:59] [SPEAKER_03]: really makes us a tougher movie to get through.
[00:39:03] [SPEAKER_03]: The parents being so different at 40
[00:39:06] [SPEAKER_03]: than even when they were 21, even in just a way
[00:39:08] [SPEAKER_03]: in which they presented like present themselves
[00:39:11] [SPEAKER_03]: is just totally different.
[00:39:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Even though they're totally independent scientists
[00:39:16] [SPEAKER_03]: and they're not run by any establishment.
[00:39:18] [SPEAKER_03]: So they could be these scientists
[00:39:20] [SPEAKER_03]: that are also like really chill, but they're not that.
[00:39:24] [SPEAKER_03]: And but somehow at 21 they are that.
[00:39:26] [SPEAKER_03]: And you know, the guitar thing bothered me more
[00:39:29] [SPEAKER_03]: than it should.
[00:39:30] [SPEAKER_03]: And so there's just like a lot of little things
[00:39:32] [SPEAKER_03]: a lot of little things in this movie
[00:39:34] [SPEAKER_03]: that made this movie not as good
[00:39:36] [SPEAKER_03]: as I think it could have been.
[00:39:37] [SPEAKER_03]: I think there's something really cool here.
[00:39:39] [SPEAKER_03]: And maybe we can put our heads together
[00:39:41] [SPEAKER_03]: and give this one another shot.
[00:39:44] [SPEAKER_03]: If they're, if they made under wraps again,
[00:39:47] [SPEAKER_03]: I think you could redo this one
[00:39:49] [SPEAKER_03]: and you can make something really cool.
[00:39:50] [SPEAKER_03]: I think it's a pretty cool idea.
[00:39:52] [SPEAKER_00]: And we're at a fun age now
[00:39:53] [SPEAKER_00]: where like Taj could be the dead.
[00:39:55] [SPEAKER_03]: 100%.
[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Like I think there's stuff like that
[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_03]: that's really cool.
[00:39:58] [SPEAKER_03]: And the idea of having your parents de-age
[00:40:02] [SPEAKER_03]: and you getting to unlike with like Freaky Friday
[00:40:06] [SPEAKER_03]: when they switch bodies
[00:40:08] [SPEAKER_03]: and then they really,
[00:40:08] [SPEAKER_03]: like you kind of realize what your,
[00:40:10] [SPEAKER_03]: what your parent is going through.
[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Your parent realize what you're going through.
[00:40:13] [SPEAKER_03]: It's similar to that,
[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_03]: but your parents coming down
[00:40:16] [SPEAKER_03]: and you being the same age as your parent is cool.
[00:40:20] [SPEAKER_03]: And I don't feel like they fully got
[00:40:22] [SPEAKER_03]: got through the coolness of it.
[00:40:24] [SPEAKER_00]: They did have a couple of cool conversations
[00:40:27] [SPEAKER_00]: where like the mom and the daughter
[00:40:30] [SPEAKER_00]: when the mom was 14
[00:40:32] [SPEAKER_00]: got to have a fun like we're peers almost like,
[00:40:35] [SPEAKER_00]: you know.
[00:40:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Him never like talking to his dad and being like,
[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_03]: why, why'd you never tell me that you play guitar?
[00:40:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Like there's stuff there is really cool.
[00:40:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Like his dad being like him.
[00:40:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. I feel like he and they, we didn't,
[00:40:47] [SPEAKER_03]: we needed closure after more.
[00:40:49] [SPEAKER_03]: We needed closure after they came back.
[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_03]: I close in conversation.
[00:40:52] [SPEAKER_02]: This would be 79 minutes.
[00:40:53] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think that hurts it
[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_02]: because it's trying to do a lot.
[00:40:56] [SPEAKER_02]: The death nail is the parents are bad parents.
[00:41:00] [SPEAKER_02]: If the movie starts
[00:41:01] [SPEAKER_02]: and these parents are aloof
[00:41:03] [SPEAKER_02]: and their nerds aloof point,
[00:41:05] [SPEAKER_02]: their nerds and their scientists,
[00:41:07] [SPEAKER_02]: but they do love their kids
[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_02]: and they are there for their kids.
[00:41:13] [SPEAKER_02]: The movie works on every like everything
[00:41:15] [SPEAKER_02]: that happens after that makes a lot more sense.
[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_02]: But you are presented with Mark Curry
[00:41:20] [SPEAKER_02]: who doesn't know his kids are graduating,
[00:41:22] [SPEAKER_02]: hates his own dog.
[00:41:24] [SPEAKER_02]: They're bad parents.
[00:41:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And so that gets us off on a really bad foot
[00:41:27] [SPEAKER_02]: because as soon as they go down to 21 years old,
[00:41:31] [SPEAKER_02]: it's like now they're cooler,
[00:41:33] [SPEAKER_02]: but also they care more.
[00:41:35] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's like they're different people altogether.
[00:41:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I think if you had made the parents good parents
[00:41:40] [SPEAKER_02]: when they were 40 at the beginning of this movie,
[00:41:43] [SPEAKER_02]: everything still works.
[00:41:44] [SPEAKER_02]: All of the crises are still there
[00:41:46] [SPEAKER_02]: and it works much better.
[00:41:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Having said all of that, were you done, Brandon?
[00:41:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I was done.
[00:41:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much for having said all that.
[00:41:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I like the movie seems a little bit ahead of its time
[00:41:57] [SPEAKER_02]: with what it's trying to do.
[00:41:58] [SPEAKER_02]: I love the fact that it's a black family
[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_02]: who like is big in science.
[00:42:04] [SPEAKER_02]: And that would have been like
[00:42:05] [SPEAKER_02]: if you were a young person of color
[00:42:07] [SPEAKER_02]: to see that on your TV screen, pretty awesome
[00:42:11] [SPEAKER_02]: in the year 2000, I think that's great.
[00:42:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Mark Curry is really funny.
[00:42:15] [SPEAKER_02]: But no, it doesn't all work as well as what you're
[00:42:18] [SPEAKER_02]: kind of promised.
[00:42:20] [SPEAKER_02]: The premise of this movie promises
[00:42:22] [SPEAKER_02]: hijinks, fun, heartwarming, all of that stuff.
[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And unfortunately, it doesn't quite deliver
[00:42:28] [SPEAKER_02]: all of those things.
[00:42:29] [SPEAKER_02]: But I still appreciate the attempt.
[00:42:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I think I may be higher on it than YouTube
[00:42:33] [SPEAKER_02]: because I just like the swings a big swing.
[00:42:36] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a big swing of a movie
[00:42:38] [SPEAKER_02]: and it doesn't really work the way it should
[00:42:42] [SPEAKER_02]: most of the time.
[00:42:43] [SPEAKER_02]: But I was never bored.
[00:42:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
[00:42:46] [SPEAKER_02]: And it was really, really short
[00:42:48] [SPEAKER_02]: and they swung big.
[00:42:50] [SPEAKER_02]: So you could ask for worse.
[00:42:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's also along the lines
[00:42:54] [SPEAKER_00]: of like having those heart to heart moments.
[00:42:56] [SPEAKER_00]: There is a moment where like
[00:42:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Taj and the dad are talking about something
[00:43:02] [SPEAKER_00]: and the dad asks Taj a question
[00:43:05] [SPEAKER_00]: about his friends or something like that
[00:43:06] [SPEAKER_00]: and Taj doesn't know how to respond
[00:43:07] [SPEAKER_00]: because he's like, that's the first time
[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_00]: you've ever asked me about my life.
[00:43:11] [SPEAKER_00]: It's crazy.
[00:43:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Crazy.
[00:43:13] [SPEAKER_00]: And the dad was like, I'm your dad.
[00:43:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Like we must talk all the time.
[00:43:16] [SPEAKER_00]: And then we don't go anywhere with that.
[00:43:18] [SPEAKER_02]: And then when they get back
[00:43:20] [SPEAKER_02]: it just they act like this is
[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_02]: like they remember enough to be better parents.
[00:43:23] [SPEAKER_02]: That was the part of this movie that was tough.
[00:43:26] [SPEAKER_00]: There is like a more heartbreaking movie in here somewhere
[00:43:30] [SPEAKER_00]: that's not where the dads of mine
[00:43:31] [SPEAKER_03]: doesn't care about any other living soul.
[00:43:34] [SPEAKER_00]: They just like every now and then
[00:43:35] [SPEAKER_00]: you're having some high drinks
[00:43:36] [SPEAKER_00]: and this movie hits you with like all eyes
[00:43:39] [SPEAKER_00]: trying to find what it was some attention from dad
[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_00]: or eyes that had waited his whole life
[00:43:44] [SPEAKER_00]: for some attention.
[00:43:45] [SPEAKER_00]: And like, the first time you've ever asked me
[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_03]: and he says, I'm sorry and I have two things in common.
[00:43:51] [SPEAKER_00]: One, we were named after scientists
[00:43:53] [SPEAKER_03]: and two, we both just want dad's attention.
[00:43:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Man, that's tough.
[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there was definitely it takes a big swing.
[00:44:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Doesn't quite hit it out of the park, but it's a good.
[00:44:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Good. Here we are.
[00:44:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Who point point?
[00:44:07] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a both point.
[00:44:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Let's make our lists.
[00:44:10] [SPEAKER_03]: The MND come.
[00:44:12] [SPEAKER_03]: So that works.
[00:44:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Aaron, where are you putting this one
[00:44:16] [SPEAKER_03]: the proof point on your list?
[00:44:17] [SPEAKER_00]: That's a great question.
[00:44:18] [SPEAKER_03]: I can go ahead if you need me to.
[00:44:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Go ahead, Brian.
[00:44:21] [SPEAKER_03]: I have it
[00:44:23] [SPEAKER_03]: debuting not in the top 10.
[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_03]: I have a debuting at number 20.
[00:44:28] [SPEAKER_03]: 20, I have it in between.
[00:44:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Don't look under the bed, which is 19
[00:44:33] [SPEAKER_03]: and color of friendship, which is 21.
[00:44:35] [SPEAKER_03]: That's where I have it.
[00:44:37] [SPEAKER_03]: It's behind a couple of movies like Up Up In A Way.
[00:44:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Steps, different planet, weird movies like that.
[00:44:43] [SPEAKER_03]: I kind of feel like it's in that.
[00:44:45] [SPEAKER_02]: You think stepsister from Planet Weir
[00:44:46] [SPEAKER_02]: is better than this movie?
[00:44:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I do.
[00:44:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Holy cow.
[00:44:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Man, sorry.
[00:44:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Good for you, dude.
[00:44:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Sorry to hurt you.
[00:44:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm so I'm happy that you're happy with that.
[00:44:56] [SPEAKER_02]: I am happy.
[00:44:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Here's my top 10.
[00:44:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Same as last week, Halloween Town.
[00:45:00] [SPEAKER_03]: 10, nine, Miracle lane two, eight,
[00:45:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Jack Jackson, seven, Phantom six,
[00:45:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Mom's got a date, five,
[00:45:06] [SPEAKER_03]: look at the Irish for Smart House.
[00:45:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Three, Motocross two,
[00:45:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Johnny Thunami and number one,
[00:45:11] [SPEAKER_03]: the greatest movie of all time, Brink.
[00:45:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Aaron, yeah, are you prepared?
[00:45:15] [SPEAKER_00]: I am prepared.
[00:45:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Like with Bran,
[00:45:19] [SPEAKER_00]: this movie is not premiering in my top 10.
[00:45:21] [SPEAKER_00]: What?
[00:45:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
[00:45:24] [SPEAKER_00]: It is premiering at 22.
[00:45:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, holy moly.
[00:45:29] [SPEAKER_02]: 22.
[00:45:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Guys, am I crazy here?
[00:45:33] [SPEAKER_00]: No, I need to think about it some more.
[00:45:36] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, do you want to go to Dan?
[00:45:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Do you want a few more minutes?
[00:45:38] [SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no.
[00:45:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Go for it.
[00:45:38] [SPEAKER_02]: It's your birthday.
[00:45:39] [SPEAKER_02]: You can do what you want.
[00:45:40] [SPEAKER_02]: It was your birthday.
[00:45:41] [SPEAKER_00]: It was my birthday.
[00:45:42] [SPEAKER_03]: So your birthday month.
[00:45:44] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
[00:45:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Today's the last day of it.
[00:45:45] [SPEAKER_03]: It's fine, too, though.
[00:45:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but.
[00:45:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Further removed once another person's birthday comes in,
[00:45:52] [SPEAKER_03]: it years is out.
[00:45:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're going to move it real quick.
[00:45:56] [SPEAKER_02]: OK, Dan, go ahead.
[00:45:57] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not my top 10.
[00:45:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, I think it would be crazy,
[00:46:01] [SPEAKER_02]: but I have it at 14.
[00:46:04] [SPEAKER_02]: I have it.
[00:46:05] [SPEAKER_02]: The movie that I have worse than this
[00:46:06] [SPEAKER_02]: is Don't Look Under the Bed,
[00:46:07] [SPEAKER_02]: another very big swing movie
[00:46:09] [SPEAKER_02]: that has a weird make out scene
[00:46:11] [SPEAKER_02]: with an imaginary friend.
[00:46:12] [SPEAKER_02]: And without that,
[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_02]: it probably is a top 10 movie.
[00:46:15] [SPEAKER_02]: And then just better than this,
[00:46:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I have Xenon and Genius and the other me
[00:46:19] [SPEAKER_02]: and movies like that.
[00:46:20] [SPEAKER_02]: That's where I have it.
[00:46:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I think I think this is a big swing of a movie
[00:46:23] [SPEAKER_02]: with a great idea
[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_02]: and it doesn't all quite coalesce,
[00:46:25] [SPEAKER_02]: but it's only 79 minutes,
[00:46:27] [SPEAKER_02]: which matters to me.
[00:46:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Jumping ship drops on my list
[00:46:29] [SPEAKER_02]: because of how long it is like.
[00:46:31] [SPEAKER_00]: The jumping ship is like three hours on.
[00:46:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's still going on somewhere.
[00:46:35] [SPEAKER_02]: It's still playing.
[00:46:36] [SPEAKER_02]: There's still on that island.
[00:46:38] [SPEAKER_02]: My top 10 is the same as last week.
[00:46:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Luck of the Irish 10, Smart House 9,
[00:46:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Brink 8, Quint's 7,
[00:46:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Phantom of the Megaplex 6,
[00:46:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Miracle in Lane 2, 5.
[00:46:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Mom's got a date with the vampire 4,
[00:46:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Halloween Town 3,
[00:46:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Johnny Tsunami 2 and the best
[00:46:54] [SPEAKER_02]: DCOM by far number one motocross.
[00:46:58] [SPEAKER_00]: That's what I got.
[00:46:58] [SPEAKER_00]: OK, here we are.
[00:46:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Are you ready now?
[00:47:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Yep, I thought about it.
[00:47:02] [SPEAKER_00]: It's going to debut at 17.
[00:47:04] [SPEAKER_02]: OK.
[00:47:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Because I do think I'd rather watch this
[00:47:07] [SPEAKER_00]: than Rip Girls, Alley Cat Strike and Genius
[00:47:10] [SPEAKER_00]: and both Lawrence Brothers movies.
[00:47:11] [SPEAKER_02]: That's all genius.
[00:47:13] [SPEAKER_02]: I had genius right before it.
[00:47:14] [SPEAKER_02]: So I had Rip Girls and Alley Cat Strike definitely worse.
[00:47:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so that's where I'm going to do it.
[00:47:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to do it with Alley Cat Strike.
[00:47:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I put it on my list immediately
[00:47:20] [SPEAKER_00]: right where Hound it is
[00:47:21] [SPEAKER_00]: because I think I was just putting
[00:47:23] [SPEAKER_00]: the Taj Mahri movies together.
[00:47:25] [SPEAKER_02]: This is a better, this is a way better time.
[00:47:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Coincidentally also 17,
[00:47:28] [SPEAKER_03]: you thought this movie was 17 again.
[00:47:30] [SPEAKER_03]: So it actually works out really well.
[00:47:31] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll just keep it at 17 forever,
[00:47:33] [SPEAKER_00]: no matter what other else.
[00:47:34] [SPEAKER_02]: No matter what other comes out.
[00:47:35] [SPEAKER_02]: That's going to end up really high on your list then.
[00:47:37] [SPEAKER_02]: If it ends up 17 out of 130,
[00:47:39] [SPEAKER_02]: that's going to be something.
[00:47:40] [SPEAKER_00]: 117.
[00:47:42] [SPEAKER_00]: And then there has been some change-ups in my top.
[00:47:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Some change-ups, okay.
[00:47:48] [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to change-ups, Warning.
[00:47:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Change-up everybody.
[00:47:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Change-up.
[00:47:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Here we go.
[00:47:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Still at 10, Brink.
[00:47:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, finger.
[00:47:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Moving down to number nine is Quintz.
[00:47:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:47:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Moving up.
[00:48:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Where was it?
[00:48:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it was at eight.
[00:48:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
[00:48:02] [SPEAKER_00]: So there's a switch here.
[00:48:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Moving up is Phantom of the Mega Blacks.
[00:48:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you guys are starting to be with me on this.
[00:48:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, what was the more I think about it,
[00:48:10] [SPEAKER_00]: like I think Quintz is a better movie,
[00:48:12] [SPEAKER_00]: but I watch Phantom of the Mega Blacks every year.
[00:48:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Kimmy Brown.
[00:48:17] [SPEAKER_02]: She's unbelievable.
[00:48:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Kimmy Brown.
[00:48:19] [SPEAKER_02]: She is.
[00:48:20] [SPEAKER_02]: The movie is whatever, but she is the scene where she is.
[00:48:22] [SPEAKER_02]: She gives some good work.
[00:48:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my gosh, it's unbelievable.
[00:48:25] [SPEAKER_02]: But Phantom of the Mega Blacks, I'd rather watch.
[00:48:27] [SPEAKER_02]: That's why I switched.
[00:48:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I just think about it all the time.
[00:48:30] [SPEAKER_00]: I watch it every year.
[00:48:31] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like as you know, we're getting into fall season.
[00:48:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Fall coffee is out.
[00:48:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Fall donut flavors are out.
[00:48:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Like Count Chocla is in theaters.
[00:48:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Or is it theaters and stores?
[00:48:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I keep thinking about like, it's almost time for me.
[00:48:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Mom's got a date.
[00:48:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Phantom is going to move into my top five at October.
[00:48:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what happened.
[00:48:49] [SPEAKER_02]: You told me you were playing a movie
[00:48:50] [SPEAKER_02]: we had already seen again.
[00:48:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Phantom of the Mega Blacks would be one of the ones
[00:48:56] [SPEAKER_02]: I would have hoped that you would
[00:48:57] [SPEAKER_02]: like definitely near the top.
[00:48:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Like is it great?
[00:49:00] [SPEAKER_02]: No, but like there's something about it now
