[00:13:46] But also driving Observation And so The way It was scheduled Was They would pick You up It would be Another student Driver And you would Basically observe Them for half an hour And they would They would basically Drive themselves home And then you would Get in the driver's seat And you would Drive around for an hour And if there was An appointment after you You would pick them up And they would observe you While you drove yourself home But it was never like I never knew the kid

[00:14:15] That was driving Like My driver's ed Class sucks And there was never More than one They're not putting Three or four Of my best friends In the back seat To distract me That's crazy We had a whole Like driver's ed Course On campus But our driver's ed Teacher Our driver's ed teacher Had recently lost his wife So he was He was Oh no I know He was mad All the time Oh no And would just like Yell And he'd be like Sorry I just lost my wife

[00:27:31] Comes back to the vacation house And he's like You have a boy here And she's like It's a peanut And Oscar picks up Cashew And looks under Cashew's skirt And we visibly On the tape Reacted harshly To that scene Can't do that Oscar So when she's just fed up Doesn't want to be with her family She sneaks out To have a day To herself But Dr. Carver Still Sends out The Penny clone Right So the whole Well cause like

[00:28:01] He has captured everyone Right Except for Penny Except for Penny But still releases The clone family Is boarding the boat And clone Penny Is like I forgot My wristwatch My communicator She leaves To go get it Normal Penny Shows up And gets on the boat And right away She doesn't notice Her family Being weird But she's thrilled Cause they're all Sitting on the boat Ready to go home And she's like I'm so happy That we're going home I'm so happy

[00:32:56] I mean I don't want to say That he did that But oh my gosh His whole career Has been to rectify The Proud Family Can you google If he's ever talked About the Proud Family For what it's worth Granted you know Aaron you and I Weren't big Proud Family fans I'd seen like A handful of episodes I mean if I got Home from school And it was on I would watch it Mainly for the theme song Which we don't really Get in this movie Dan had never seen A Proud Family episode The Letterboxd reviews From people that are Fans of the Proud Family

[00:33:26] Seem to really enjoy This movie For what that's worth So it is possible That not seeing this show Or being a big fan Of the show Really hindered The viewing of this Said movie And it makes it tough To discuss Because it's like Well I don't have anything On Jordan Peele And the Proud Family But I did find A YouTube video That's titled Is Jordan Peele's Us Trailer But it's the Proud Family And if I'm not watching That immediately Following this There you go

[00:33:56] Yeah Well What can you do Anyway We have to discuss it So here we are Discussing it Erin Yeah Thoughts on Proud Family movie Um Yeah So as we just said This is a show That I did watch Probably about as much As I watched Kim Possible Like if it was on After school Or on a Saturday Sure And you know It wasn't a show I hated Um But from what I remember Of Proud Family

[00:34:25] Very few Like Out of this World Hijinks Like I remember It being a show About Penny becoming A teenager The show starts And she's 14 Ends when she's 16 It's about her Like with her friends You know And Oscar's out of touch And like Doesn't know what it's like Normal family Sitcom stuff Sitcom hijinks Yeah And maybe a little bit more On the hijinks level Because they're cartoons Yes And you can get away with Yes You know The dog is being A main character Like Oh my gosh That's the other stinger

[00:34:55] There's after All that Then there's another Stinger at the end Of the movie Where the dog Gets some of the serum And takes over the town And then we don't See anything else Beyond that Then Kim Possible Shows up Oh my gosh But I mean while watching Or a Kim Possible plotline I don't remember There being evil geniuses And plans to take over The world In the proud family And so watching it

[00:35:26] I don't know I mean I'm so curious I wish I had seen this In 2005 I wish As someone who had Just seen The show Had watched the movie To figure out like Is this in The vein of You know The tone of the show Like Kim Possible The movie Yeah That fit right in With the show Like it was On par With what the show Was about Kim saving the world While dealing With high school Proud family Was never about Penny saving the world And dealing with Normal things So it just like

[00:35:55] I felt like it Didn't fit with The tone of the show The three of us Could not follow This plot It was so convoluted That the Like This movie Makes life is rough Make all the sense In the world Like this movie There is no rhyme Or reason Their peanuts Are taking over The world Led by What we discovered To be a peanut I don't I don't know Like it It's a rough movie

[00:36:25] It was a rough watch We're gonna change The tape It'll be free You can watch us If you're If you're having A rough day And wanna see Three individuals Having a worse day Do I have a video For you And just know That the recording Does end When the movie ends And we didn't realize There were like Three extra endings So you do miss Our reactions That's why it's free Otherwise it would cost A lot of money But basically Just take like our There's some moments Of the Take it to the tape

[00:44:38] weeks out from that movie now start to finish how that movie played out i don't understand the proud family movie i don't understand how we got here i don't understand how this movie was made like you brought the i i don't know was the kim possible movie so popular that they were like more uh which they were in the same year so they had would have had no that doesn't work what it wasn't based on the

[00:45:04] kim possible popularity so i don't understand i just don't understand and that's it's last i would rather watch the gross alien in candleworms i'd rather watch kirk cameron shake his hips at me because he's mind reading a dog yeah kirk cameron shout out better than the proud family movie in my opinion uh i'm with erin on this one it's my uh last movie i know currently guys i don't get it

[00:45:54] every other movie that we've watched some have been boring but have kept my interest enough to where i could tell you about the movie this movie i zoned out 10 minute 10 and it never came back and every and all the stuff that i remember i actively hate it i got one i got one full hearty chuckle in a scene in this movie and that's that's better than some other movies all right so it's last for me all right good it's like i'm i might give it some thought and see but it's probably you know what maybe brink is the number one movie okay all right okay dan

[00:46:23] it's 50 for me 50 which you know according to these two is just soaring up the charts uh at 50 the movies that i have behind this movie are either a offensive this movie was not offensive i yeah yourself i think that there are a couple scenes in this movie that you're like why would this be in a kid's movie but the movie in 2025 isn't any more offensive than it was in 2005

[00:46:51] not offensive he picks up a peanut and checks their genitals yes peanuts are inanimate it's a bit that is that is something that that would not be any different in 2005 than now that's not offensive maybe uncomfortable the problem for me is if we're if we're ranking these movies buffalo dreams tiger cruise true confessions are out and out offensive they are all three better acted more sensical

[00:47:19] movies than this one they are out and out what i would let my kids watch this movie i would watch this movie again before i would ever watch those three movies again period and those are bottom three for me because some movies are just you didn't try z3 you didn't try nobody there tried nobody there wanted to be there raven simone is doing four scenes from the same soundstage it's embarrassing

[00:47:41] and then so those what one two three four five as a parent i would rather watch tiger cruise with my child and then have an open and honest dialogue with them oh god but you watch this movie and what dialogue are you having with your kid like no i don't agree with that as the therapy bill i don't agree with that as the bar my kids would laugh throughout this movie they would laugh throughout this movie and i gotta be honest they're not far from me i'm like i don't what happened in this movie i don't

[00:48:08] care if they watch they're they're almost nine i don't have a problem with it i don't like whatever like the stuff that happens that's weird is weird but like okay peanut peanut with a skirt that's stupid um so for me we're all it's 50 it's 50 which i thought was really low um i will say this the the defense of you lucky dog which i have behind this movie i do think is a fair one i may move

[00:48:35] you lucky dog ahead of this movie i also have stepsister from planet weird uh behind this and jenny project and i guess you could make the case that those two might not be that bad but it definitely is a movie that isn't the thing that the show was and i think that's the biggest stone to throw at this movie is that it didn't do the thing that it was supposed to do it just yeah i mean i guess for someone who never saw this show this movie comes out of left field and i i don't know

[00:49:04] what to do with it it's bottom 10 for me i mean i think when we do our aggregate score it's going to end up the worst if you two have it the worst and i have a bottom 10 when when the year ends well when the show ends it will end up being the average worst movie this is a show that never ends no really interesting it goes on and on i am pretty sure this so you have so you have a lump of movies at the bottom that you just find offensive i have why they're down there i have i mean i find

[00:49:29] true confession true confessions tiger cruise and buffalo dreams are all in the bottom 10 they're not the last three they're all in the bottom 10 and so but mainly because they're offensive yes okay yes if there is a movie that i think is a movie that even the intentions at the time were wrong so if you made a movie and it's like turns out that's really bad okay whatever if you made a movie

[00:49:54] that even at that time someone could go back and go hey that's not how we treat people or that's not how we this is like those all three of those movies in 2005 buffalo dreams was wrong it was wrong in 2004 tiger cruise was wrong period these movies were like like and the fact that nobody stood up and said anything like that kills them for me like i you know i i would much rather my kid watched a
