[00:00:00] This is a Bramble Jam Podcast.
[00:00:07] Well, hi!
[00:00:11] Hi there everybody.
[00:00:15] It's another Friday.
[00:00:18] Oh my goodness.
[00:00:20] Another DCOM Descendants brand.
[00:00:22] Aaron, Dan we're back for you.
[00:00:25] Yeah we are.
[00:00:27] No one else would rather be, Bram.
[00:00:29] Nowhere else.
[00:00:30] Definitely not our second one today.
[00:00:32] I can tell you that.
[00:00:33] I'm not wearing the same shirt as last Friday.
[00:00:35] No one am I?
[00:00:36] We just have a motif here in the office.
[00:00:38] That's right.
[00:00:39] Hey guys.
[00:00:40] I just want to say really quickly.
[00:00:42] You want to say it quickly?
[00:00:43] I want to say it really quickly.
[00:00:45] What is this?
[00:00:46] Oh my gosh.
[00:00:47] Dan can you tell them get it?
[00:00:49] Oh my gosh.
[00:00:50] I don't know.
[00:00:51] I don't know.
[00:00:52] I don't know.
[00:00:53] I didn't know this.
[00:00:54] Dan can you tell them?
[00:00:56] Every like 6-8 weeks Bram starts a podcast and just decides
[00:01:01] he doesn't know what he wants to say he just knows he doesn't want to say
[00:01:04] the same thing.
[00:01:06] That's right.
[00:01:07] And so he just jumps out there.
[00:01:09] What is this?
[00:01:10] DCOM Descendants is a bramblejam podcast it's recorded in
[00:01:13] Yeah that Greenville, South Carolina.
[00:01:15] What do we do?
[00:01:16] And we watch every Disney Channel original movie in order
[00:01:19] unlike the other guys.
[00:01:21] in order and you two are supposedly experts.
[00:01:26] We are in the field of DCOMS,
[00:01:28] even though sometimes you haven't seen them
[00:01:30] and I've never seen any of them.
[00:01:32] And then we try to figure out where they stand
[00:01:34] in the pantheon of the DCOMS universe.
[00:01:36] I haven't seen the scary ones.
[00:01:37] All right.
[00:01:38] Well, how do you know they're good
[00:01:39] or not if you've not seen them?
[00:01:42] You wanna, how do you think I'd be
[00:01:45] as a coworker and a human being
[00:01:46] if I watched Can of Worms at nine years old?
[00:01:49] Maybe a different.
[00:01:50] We got the job.
[00:01:52] You wanna get the G, whatever you and have applied.
[00:01:53] So I think nine year old me made a good call.
[00:01:55] All right.
[00:01:57] We wanna of course thank the folks that have left reviews.
[00:02:00] We're making our way to 100.
[00:02:02] We're getting there.
[00:02:03] I got one from Randy B.
[00:02:05] Randy B.
[00:02:06] 82 that says best DCOM reviews.
[00:02:10] Ooh.
[00:02:12] We did it?
[00:02:13] I'm not even, we didn't say it.
[00:02:15] Little ol' us?
[00:02:15] We didn't say it.
[00:02:16] No, that's Randy B.
[00:02:19] Randy B knows the DCOM.
[00:02:23] I mean, he just, that's egregious.
[00:02:25] It wasn't the last name, it was one letter.
[00:02:28] I liked it.
[00:02:28] It wasn't a name, it wasn't too syllable.
[00:02:31] He deserved it.
[00:02:32] He deserved it.
[00:02:33] That's a lot.
[00:02:34] Randy got more than you should have.
[00:02:35] I love watching the guys in Aaron review DCOMs.
[00:02:38] They never fail to make me laugh.
[00:02:40] You're not with a guy still.
[00:02:42] I was 17.
[00:02:43] You'll get there one day.
[00:02:44] I was 17 in 1999 and my sister was three.
[00:02:48] So I can relate to Dan and my sister
[00:02:50] relates to Brandon Aaron.
[00:02:52] It relates to you and that like both you
[00:02:55] and Randy are old.
[00:02:56] Nice, nicely done.
[00:02:57] I was 16 and 99 so Randy, I get it
[00:03:00] and we're not old.
[00:03:01] I could be a triatric millennials.
[00:03:02] But I mean, Randy does say I couldn't get cable
[00:03:05] but Disney was channel 290 on direct TV.
[00:03:08] We weren't allowed to have cable for sure.
[00:03:09] Randy B.
[00:03:10] Thank you Randy B.
[00:03:11] And I'm gonna go check out all the other DCOM podcasts
[00:03:14] and see if Randy's left other reviews.
[00:03:17] A few.
[00:03:18] But we're the best.
[00:03:19] Per Randy B.
[00:03:22] We're not trying to start a plot.
[00:03:23] We're gonna take that review Randy B
[00:03:25] and we're gonna make it into a T-shirt.
[00:03:26] It just says best DCOM review podcast
[00:03:30] in quotes from Randy B.
[00:03:31] From Randy B.
[00:03:32] 82.
[00:03:33] 82.
[00:03:34] It's all like hot cakes.
[00:03:36] Speaking of hot cakes, it's time for delicious.
[00:03:38] I wasn't bad.
[00:03:41] It wasn't bad because there's an ice cream cake
[00:03:43] in front of me and I was watching Mel
[00:03:44] and was driving me bonkers.
[00:03:47] Let's get to the delicious segment.
[00:03:50] For those of you at home that would like to partake
[00:03:53] in maybe eating something related to the movie, Aaron.
[00:03:57] Maybe a little bit.
[00:03:59] No one does it better than Aaron.
[00:04:00] Very related.
[00:04:01] No one does it better than Aaron.
[00:04:02] There is one job and it's to make this as strong
[00:04:06] and connective.
[00:04:06] I gotta be honest there.
[00:04:07] A little disappointed that for three weeks in a row
[00:04:09] you didn't bring in monster cookies.
[00:04:11] But I do see something really wonderful.
[00:04:14] That's right.
[00:04:15] It's gonna be great.
[00:04:17] I know what that treat is.
[00:04:18] You guys are way...
[00:04:19] Shamrock shake for McDonald's.
[00:04:21] God bless.
[00:04:23] Aaron, what do we got today?
[00:04:27] So...
[00:04:28] You're just getting the mic.
[00:04:29] The cord is just...
[00:04:29] I know, I know.
[00:04:30] Just getting the business right now.
[00:04:32] You wanted to celebrate too.
[00:04:33] What's getting the business?
[00:04:35] I don't know if that's how you would say that.
[00:04:37] So this week a big part of this movie
[00:04:39] is that our lead character whose name I can't remember
[00:04:43] what was it?
[00:04:44] Scott.
[00:04:45] Scotty.
[00:04:46] It was just Scott.
[00:04:47] I think so.
[00:04:48] I think at one point they called him a nickname
[00:04:49] and I thought that was his real name
[00:04:50] and I got really confused.
[00:04:52] Anyway, the big point is his 14th birthday.
[00:04:55] Happy birthday Scotty.
[00:04:56] You know how on your 14th birthday
[00:04:58] that is when you get your superhero powers.
[00:05:02] 11 is when you become a wizard,
[00:05:03] 13 is when you become a mermaid,
[00:05:05] 14 superhero.
[00:05:06] Superhero, yes.
[00:05:07] In honor of Scott's 14th birthday
[00:05:10] we have birthday cake.
[00:05:12] And since I got to choose the birthday cake
[00:05:13] it is an ice cream cake.
[00:05:15] It's the right choice.
[00:05:16] So this is just store bought or did you buy it?
[00:05:20] Or did you make it?
[00:05:23] It was handmade at Carvel.
[00:05:25] You said store bought brand.
[00:05:27] Like you were a 1950s husband
[00:05:30] who came home after a long day of work to take out.
[00:05:34] That is how you said that.
[00:05:36] So this is store bought Aaron, really.
[00:05:39] Yeah.
[00:05:40] Fascinating.
[00:05:41] This is delicious.
[00:05:43] I mean really good.
[00:05:44] Yeah, I don't know if you guys know
[00:05:46] to make a whole cake,
[00:05:47] to have you take two bites of it
[00:05:48] and tell me it's not good
[00:05:49] is just a lot of my time.
[00:05:50] And then I go home and cry.
[00:05:52] I have nothing of done on this.
[00:05:54] This is delicious.
[00:05:55] Yeah, Carvel.
[00:05:56] I can tell you didn't make it.
[00:05:58] Sorry.
[00:06:00] It was right there.
[00:06:01] I have a hard time with ice cream cake
[00:06:04] because I have sensitive teeth
[00:06:05] and so the contrast of the really cold ice cream
[00:06:08] with normal makes it a hard experience for me.
[00:06:12] I can help you out.
[00:06:14] I'm probably not gonna eat anymore
[00:06:14] because I've got a show to do.
[00:06:19] I mean less.
[00:06:21] Mr. I've got a show to do.
[00:06:22] You guys are unmistakably have less on the show.
[00:06:25] They make the behind the music of this podcast.
[00:06:28] All of the turmoil
[00:06:29] if you thinking you were the big dog,
[00:06:31] the host of this show, unbelievable.
[00:06:34] I wouldn't say I would say it's Aaron and I
[00:06:37] and then you.
[00:06:38] I think that's pretty clear.
[00:06:40] Okay.
[00:06:40] I'm going to go to the reviews.
[00:06:42] That other guy.
[00:06:43] That other guy.
[00:06:44] Here's what we're gonna do.
[00:06:45] We're gonna take a quick break.
[00:06:46] We're gonna come back.
[00:06:46] We're gonna break down.
[00:06:47] Should we put that on a show?
[00:06:48] Up.
[00:06:49] Yes.
[00:06:50] That other guy is just there.
[00:06:51] Up, up and away.
[00:06:53] On the other side of the break here on
[00:06:54] Decombe Descendants.
[00:06:55] Decombe Descendants.
[00:06:56] Decombe Descendants.
[00:06:57] Take the hallmark.
[00:06:58] All three of us before the break.
[00:07:03] Good.
[00:07:05] We're grinding by.
[00:07:06] Welcome back everybody.
[00:07:07] We're talking up, up and away today.
[00:07:11] Up, up and away.
[00:07:13] Today hear me say what am I doing on this day?
[00:07:17] We're talking up, up and away.
[00:07:19] Did you rhyme day with day?
[00:07:20] Up, up and away.
[00:07:21] It's up, up and away.
[00:07:24] What are we gonna do today?
[00:07:26] I'm going to say what we're going to do
[00:07:27] on this day.
[00:07:28] Up, up and away.
[00:07:30] All right.
[00:07:31] Up, up and away.
[00:07:32] Originally premiered.
[00:07:33] Decombe Descendants is a Bramble Jam podcast.
[00:07:35] It's produced by Brandon Gray.
[00:07:37] He thinks he's the head dog.
[00:07:40] He is not produced by Aaron Shea at all.
[00:07:42] Email brand at deckthelholmark.com.
[00:07:44] More than fair, January 22nd, 2000.
[00:07:46] Woo, 2000.
[00:07:47] We are in the year 2000.
[00:07:50] And this is the first 2000 movie for the Decombe.
[00:07:55] We did it.
[00:07:57] Starring and directed by Robert Townsend.
[00:08:01] All right.
[00:08:02] Okay.
[00:08:03] Double dip that fella.
[00:08:04] Are you kidding me?
[00:08:05] And while we're talking about him,
[00:08:06] IMDB told me that he directed another superhero movie
[00:08:09] where he played a superhero.
[00:08:10] Wow.
[00:08:11] And his mom and that.
[00:08:12] It's called The X-Men.
[00:08:13] It wasn't.
[00:08:14] But his mom in that movie was the mom from the Jeffersons.
[00:08:18] Wow, wow.
[00:08:19] His dad in this movie is the dad from the Jeffersons.
[00:08:21] A lot of time there.
[00:08:23] A lot of time.
[00:08:23] That's just what you do is when you're fans
[00:08:25] of somebody and you want to hang out with them,
[00:08:26] you write a movie.
[00:08:27] Let's be fans of each other.
[00:08:28] Let's be fans of each other.
[00:08:29] That's exactly right, Dana.
[00:08:31] We are at the headquarters
[00:08:33] of something called Earth Protectors.
[00:08:35] And we all know what that is.
[00:08:36] Well, I would say going into this movie,
[00:08:39] knowing that it's some sort of superhero related movie,
[00:08:44] it had been a while, Erin,
[00:08:46] and I couldn't really remember the plots.
[00:08:48] I assumed that Earth Protectors were the superheroes.
[00:08:52] And I was like, oh, we're getting right into the superhero
[00:08:55] business.
[00:08:56] In the first moments, I was like,
[00:08:57] oh yeah, this is like the Justice League.
[00:08:59] They're they are the Earth Protectors.
[00:09:00] A movie that's 78 minutes long, including credits,
[00:09:04] they do a great job of throat.
[00:09:06] Like it does seem like this could be the good guys
[00:09:09] or the bad guys.
[00:09:10] It isn't a classic, like we know what's going on.
[00:09:14] And also it gets right to it,
[00:09:15] which DCOMS don't necessarily do.
[00:09:18] We meet-
[00:09:19] Yeah, it opens with the plot.
[00:09:20] Yes, it does.
[00:09:21] We meet the two Earth Protectors, Malcolm and Nina.
[00:09:26] They are excited because they believe
[00:09:28] that they are ready to launch
[00:09:31] the Earth Protector program.
[00:09:33] More on that in just a little bit.
[00:09:35] We then meet a loving family, the Marshall family,
[00:09:40] Marshall Mathers, et cetera.
[00:09:42] Scott Marshall.
[00:09:45] Scott Marshall, I mean, I thought we did a little,
[00:09:47] we did a little Eminem earlier with the song.
[00:09:50] I felt like that was pretty hip hop.
[00:09:54] Scott Marshall.
[00:09:55] Scott Marshall is-
[00:09:57] I said it for years, no one gets hip hop like Bryn.
[00:09:59] Bryn is so cool.
[00:10:01] He is the head honcho of the spot cast
[00:10:04] Yeah.
[00:10:05] Thank you.
[00:10:05] No one's cooler.
[00:10:06] No one's cooler.
[00:10:07] Thank you.
[00:10:09] We meet Scott Marshall.
[00:10:11] He is four days away from his 14th birthday.
[00:10:14] You'd think he'd be excited, but he's not.
[00:10:17] You'd think so.
[00:10:18] Scott's friend Randy brings zucchini bread wrapped
[00:10:23] in aluminum foil into the house
[00:10:25] and they all act really weird about it.
[00:10:29] They freeze.
[00:10:29] They won't get near it.
[00:10:31] And he's like, whoa guys, this is weird.
[00:10:34] When Scott and Randy walk outside,
[00:10:36] he's like, man, your family's really weird.
[00:10:37] And he's like, they really don't like zucchini.
[00:10:39] Which even if that is the case,
[00:10:40] really weird way to respond to somebody
[00:10:43] who's bringing you zucchini bread, but whatever.
[00:10:46] Scott and Randy, they get to school-
[00:10:48] I mean we didn't even react that way
[00:10:49] when Brian brought us zucchini bread.
[00:10:51] Yeah, yeah.
[00:10:52] Or when Brian-
[00:10:53] And that's zucchini bread though.
[00:10:54] Yeah.
[00:10:54] We tried it.
[00:10:59] Not great.
[00:10:59] When Scott and Randy-
[00:11:02] Stop sneaking vegetables into bread.
[00:11:03] Yeah, stop it.
[00:11:04] Yeah.
[00:11:04] Bread's fine on its own.
[00:11:05] I do like banana bread though.
[00:11:08] That's different.
[00:11:09] That's a-
[00:11:09] Basically it's not a French dough.
[00:11:10] No, I'm just saying.
[00:11:11] No, I'm saying.
[00:11:12] I mean I don't even like carrot cake
[00:11:13] with the shredded carrot in it.
[00:11:15] Just leave it out.
[00:11:15] Just give me the spice.
[00:11:16] Yeah.
[00:11:17] I don't want corn.
[00:11:18] I don't want corn in my cornbread.
[00:11:19] I want it to be-
[00:11:20] No, it's not.
[00:11:20] It's a cake.
[00:11:21] It's a delectable gummies.
[00:11:23] Corn flavored bread.
[00:11:25] Yeah.
[00:11:25] Barely even also.
[00:11:28] Put a lot of butter and sugar.
[00:11:29] Stop sneaking vegetables into things.
[00:11:30] Yeah, we don't need it.
[00:11:32] When Scott and Randy go to school,
[00:11:34] they are very excited that a group called
[00:11:37] The Earth Protectors-
[00:11:38] Yeah!
[00:11:41] Save in the world.
[00:11:43] Doing it!
[00:11:43] I think Disney might flag this
[00:11:45] because we took that clip from the movie
[00:11:48] of the kids being so excited.
[00:11:50] I was doing my best.
[00:11:51] Randy impression.
[00:11:51] Randy is pumped.
[00:11:53] He is.
[00:11:53] About The Earth Protectors
[00:11:55] that they are there-
[00:11:55] It wouldn't be though.
[00:11:56] To do some sort of demonstration
[00:11:58] where they all hand out-
[00:12:01] They all hand out CD-ROMs to give to kids.
[00:12:05] And they all give out CD-ROMs to give to kids.
[00:12:10] And what is this CD-ROM?
[00:12:13] What's the point of it?
[00:12:15] More on that soon.
[00:12:16] But just know that all of these kids
[00:12:19] are really excited about the CD-ROMs.
[00:12:23] I'm pumped.
[00:12:24] I know that you are.
[00:12:25] I know that you are.
[00:12:26] And so basically the whole point of the CD-ROMs
[00:12:29] is it's going to teach them about environmental safety.
[00:12:32] And the kids are excited about the environmental safety.
[00:12:35] Yeah, they're going to learn how to compost.
[00:12:37] They're going to learn how to recycle.
[00:12:39] So after Malcolm is done,
[00:12:43] he gets back into an unmarked vehicle.
[00:12:46] And actually there's marks.
[00:12:48] As any good guest lecturer at a school does.
[00:12:50] My favorite part was that they're like
[00:12:52] he is the CEO of Earth Protectors
[00:12:54] and then we zoom over to him
[00:12:55] and he is in like a T-shirt.
[00:12:57] He's wearing sandals, just like yeah.
[00:13:00] We're back home.
[00:13:01] He wears those flame buttons up.
[00:13:04] Button ups with the flames down
[00:13:06] towards the bottom of the shirt.
[00:13:07] It's a guy-fiery situation.
[00:13:08] Yeah, it's great.
[00:13:09] It's wonderful.
[00:13:10] And he keeps doing this thing.
[00:13:10] He's like make sure you recycle that man.
[00:13:12] Hey man, that would really make me happy
[00:13:13] if you recycled it.
[00:13:14] But as he gets to the unmarked van.
[00:13:15] This is when you think this guy maybe.
[00:13:17] Flicks that trash on the grass.
[00:13:19] Ominous music starts to play.
[00:13:21] Maybe he's not the good guy.
[00:13:22] Maybe Malcolm's not.
[00:13:23] Earth Protectors aren't about protecting the earth.
[00:13:26] That's exactly right.
[00:13:26] Amen.
[00:13:27] So they decide.
[00:13:29] And he's made the resurrection.
[00:13:29] Amen.
[00:13:30] They decide now that their program is out there,
[00:13:35] they could use, we're gonna take over the world.
[00:13:38] We do need to get a little extra funding.
[00:13:41] So they-
[00:13:42] Yeah, saving the planet costs money.
[00:13:44] It costs money.
[00:13:44] Isn't that very evil?
[00:13:46] Isn't that very evil?
[00:13:47] How are we gonna pay for it?
[00:13:48] Well, they go into a bank
[00:13:50] and they run the earth protectors program
[00:13:55] on the bank computer, which hypnotizes all of the tellers.
[00:14:00] And they start handing over money.
[00:14:01] And it is all going good
[00:14:03] until one of the baddies sneezes,
[00:14:06] which causes the hypnosis to break.
[00:14:09] That's exactly right.
[00:14:10] And they're like, what are you doing?
[00:14:12] That is when they call for backup.
[00:14:16] The bank tellers are like, we need the police?
[00:14:19] No, no, no.
[00:14:20] We need some superheroes.
[00:14:22] Super squad, I don't know their name.
[00:14:24] And so Scott is in the car with his buddies.
[00:14:27] His dad is driving the van, his dad-
[00:14:28] The soccer, that's right.
[00:14:29] His dad gets a little beep on his beeper
[00:14:31] and he's like, uh-oh, I gotta drop you guys here off
[00:14:36] on the corner.
[00:14:37] I'm just gonna leave you on the corner.
[00:14:38] Which is not a corner, it's just a curb.
[00:14:40] You guys got it here?
[00:14:41] You guys got it from here?
[00:14:42] He just drops three unaccompanied miners off
[00:14:45] and says, I gotta bounce, guys.
[00:14:47] There's nothing I can do.
[00:14:48] That's exactly right.
[00:14:49] So he, Scott's like, hey, Dad, is everything okay?
[00:14:52] He's like, yeah, I just gotta go.
[00:14:54] And he's like, okay.
[00:14:55] And then he takes off his clothes.
[00:14:57] It's all above board because he has-
[00:14:59] You just see the clothes piling up in the woods.
[00:15:01] He has superhero clothes underneath his work clothes.
[00:15:05] I mean, as all of the superheroes do.
[00:15:08] I mean, Superman did.
[00:15:09] He went to work every day and it was just underneath.
[00:15:11] Right.
[00:15:12] Just in case.
[00:15:13] He shows up at the bank.
[00:15:15] I just realized my shirt was pretty on par for this.
[00:15:16] It was.
[00:15:17] I only worked.
[00:15:18] It's also a world autism day.
[00:15:19] So, oh, okay.
[00:15:21] That's nice.
[00:15:21] Also superheroes.
[00:15:23] So on theme, I thought about this ahead of time.
[00:15:25] Now that it really also you were explaining
[00:15:28] how it worked in with the horse sense
[00:15:30] because you wore last week too.
[00:15:30] Yeah, horse sense.
[00:15:31] There's a lot of incomming there.
[00:15:33] Well, I mean, save the ranch,
[00:15:34] save the world.
[00:15:35] That's basically a superhero.
[00:15:37] That's true.
[00:15:37] There you go.
[00:15:38] And Joey Lawrence's arms.
[00:15:39] The missing piece of the puzzle is Aunt Nephew romance.
[00:15:44] So Scott's parents.
[00:15:47] She'll be in the sequel.
[00:15:48] Oh, I hope so.
[00:15:49] Yeah.
[00:15:50] Maybe that's too bad herself.
[00:15:52] I'm just saying like,
[00:15:53] I don't know if she is Joey Lawrence level hot,
[00:15:55] but for a mom, I mean, good God.
[00:15:58] It's last week.
[00:15:59] Sorry.
[00:15:59] Go ahead.
[00:16:00] When are you ready?
[00:16:02] Sorry, we're.
[00:16:03] So Scott's parents.
[00:16:05] No, it's OK.
[00:16:05] No, no, no.
[00:16:06] I think the rain's head on show.
[00:16:09] Yeah.
[00:16:11] So Scott's parents, Jim and Judy.
[00:16:14] Jim and Judy.
[00:16:15] Jim and Jim Judy.
[00:16:18] Weird.
[00:16:18] I realize.
[00:16:20] Yeah, I said it too soon.
[00:16:21] And they crush it.
[00:16:22] They save the day.
[00:16:24] And they're not even actually trying.
[00:16:25] They're kind of having a bit of an argument themselves
[00:16:27] and they're just like, whatever, no big deal.
[00:16:29] Very incredible.
[00:16:30] It's very just like classic run of the mill family
[00:16:33] is super hero.
[00:16:34] But Malcolm clearly got away.
[00:16:36] Malcolm's nowhere to be found.
[00:16:38] And the Marshalls are really confused about what
[00:16:40] happened at the bank because none of the tellers
[00:16:44] can recall anything.
[00:16:45] They just remember being like, hey, what's going on here?
[00:16:48] Hey, hey, hey, what's going on here?
[00:16:51] So Nina, who is Malcolm's number two, obviously,
[00:16:58] they work together to building the Earth Protector Program.
[00:17:01] Nina thinks she's number one.
[00:17:02] She went and she is really.
[00:17:04] Because a lot of things.
[00:17:06] Yeah, Nina and Brian have a lot of similarities
[00:17:10] when we start to really get down to.
[00:17:11] Yeah, we're both the good guys working with the bad guy.
[00:17:14] They think they have a grasp on what's going on
[00:17:17] and just not a clue.
[00:17:21] So Nina still thinks that the Earth Protectors are doing
[00:17:24] good.
[00:17:25] You know, ultimately, the plan
[00:17:28] is to hypnotize everybody into taking care of the Earth.
[00:17:34] Which is like, you know.
[00:17:35] Which I mean, we're not doing it on our own.
[00:17:37] So right.
[00:17:38] Yeah.
[00:17:38] I get how Nina got there.
[00:17:40] A lot of people might think this is bad.
[00:17:42] But in 10 years from now, you'd be thankful.
[00:17:46] You'd be thankful that you were hypnotizing
[00:17:48] that you were saving the Earth.
[00:17:49] Because at least you still have an Earth.
[00:17:50] At least you still have an Earth.
[00:17:52] Still not doing it.
[00:17:53] So you're saying that the, see,
[00:17:54] this is a logical fallacy.
[00:17:56] Your two options are hypnotized and we have an Earth,
[00:17:59] not hypnotized.
[00:18:00] We don't have an Earth.
[00:18:01] And there's probably a lot of middle ground there, right?
[00:18:05] Well, we've been trusting the middle ground
[00:18:07] for a long time now, Dan.
[00:18:08] And we haven't been doing anything.
[00:18:09] I'm just saying.
[00:18:10] So if there's people that like hot weather that go,
[00:18:13] would you rather be frozen and dead
[00:18:15] or sipping a margarita by a pool?
[00:18:17] Those are not the only two options.
[00:18:19] But you can see how she got there, right?
[00:18:21] I can see that if you were.
[00:18:22] And this is the year 2000.
[00:18:26] That's right.
[00:18:26] Now in 2024, like we have scientists saying,
[00:18:28] hey, we don't know they were inconvenient truths
[00:18:30] at this point.
[00:18:30] Yeah.
[00:18:31] We don't have that.
[00:18:32] And so like now, like what scientists are saying
[00:18:35] about the state of the earth now?
[00:18:36] Not great.
[00:18:37] Yeah.
[00:18:38] You gotta do the hypnotize.
[00:18:39] You got it.
[00:18:40] I think we had done it 24 years ago.
[00:18:42] That's exactly what we would be here.
[00:18:44] We would be in great shape.
[00:18:45] No one's arguing the results.
[00:18:48] The method's still a little, little.
[00:18:51] Well, if the results are good, then why does it matter?
[00:18:54] Oh really?
[00:18:55] I'm just asking you are you you are your pragmatist.
[00:18:57] It doesn't matter what happens as long as the results
[00:18:59] are good.
[00:19:00] I mean, if the soul, if the soul is.
[00:19:03] Orlando Magic win an NBA championship,
[00:19:05] three people have to die.
[00:19:07] No.
[00:19:08] You're out on that?
[00:19:08] I'm out.
[00:19:09] This if this the sole purpose of this
[00:19:11] is just taking care of the environment.
[00:19:13] There's all costs.
[00:19:15] What does that mean?
[00:19:16] At any cost.
[00:19:17] What is what are any negatives of taking care of the earth?
[00:19:20] You literally took away people's like ability to function.
[00:19:24] To litter.
[00:19:26] Yeah.
[00:19:27] Oh no.
[00:19:28] They don't remember any of it.
[00:19:29] That's no.
[00:19:30] It's you just in regards to autonomy.
[00:19:32] You're OK with taking away people's life.
[00:19:34] No, be careful here.
[00:19:35] You're you're all I'm saying is a real life not pro choice.
[00:19:38] The people what you're saying in regards to the environment.
[00:19:42] Maybe I am Europe.
[00:19:43] Maybe I am you're an Enviro pro life.
[00:19:45] I am an Enviro pro life here first brand brand values.
[00:19:52] Doing whatever it takes.
[00:19:54] Yeah, that's right to save the planet.
[00:19:57] That's exactly right.
[00:19:58] I'll say I'll say what are the downsides bodily autonomy.
[00:20:02] We have tried everything else.
[00:20:04] We saved the cheerleader Aaron Aaron's with me.
[00:20:07] Aaron is a pro life bodily autonomy.
[00:20:10] No, I'm not.
[00:20:10] I just see how he got there is we were promised
[00:20:14] save the cheerleader save the world.
[00:20:15] That's right.
[00:20:16] We didn't say we did this is before them though.
[00:20:18] Well, we tried this and here we are trying to say mature
[00:20:22] later.
[00:20:23] But here's the thing is they are saving the world
[00:20:25] is just impossible.
[00:20:26] But think about this, Dan.
[00:20:27] They are hypnotized to wear blue, but they're still able to live.
[00:20:32] They're just not aware of the thing.
[00:20:33] So it's not like some stuff.
[00:20:35] Yes, we just won't let them do some.
[00:20:36] We won't let them litter.
[00:20:38] We'll get rid of gas.
[00:20:40] I think the wearing blue was just to see if it worked.
[00:20:43] Right.
[00:20:43] But I'm just saying it's not like they don't have a life.
[00:20:47] It's a high school.
[00:20:48] Kevin, all right.
[00:20:49] It's not like you don't have a life.
[00:20:51] Yeah, I was at the party.
[00:20:52] You signed his yearbook.
[00:20:53] Right?
[00:20:53] You signed it.
[00:20:54] I did.
[00:20:54] It's not like it's not like they don't remember anything.
[00:20:58] My name is Aaron and I do not cosign on anything that is being
[00:21:02] said around me right now.
[00:21:04] Just saying.
[00:21:05] And I'm just saying.
[00:21:06] Literally stuck here in the middle.
[00:21:07] If someone can give me one, one negative to saving the earth,
[00:21:13] then I'll stand down.
[00:21:15] If one person can give me one negative to this whole thing
[00:21:18] that's not ending due to our, our, our just blind,
[00:21:24] blind love of littering, then I'll stand down.
[00:21:28] The thing you should do is keep getting louder and more animated.
[00:21:30] I'll stand down.
[00:21:31] Yeah.
[00:21:32] And if this hot thing, if this hot thing.
[00:21:34] One downside to saving the earth.
[00:21:36] You've created one downside.
[00:21:38] You can't keep saying.
[00:21:40] Straw man.
[00:21:40] You can't keep saying things.
[00:21:42] You got nothing.
[00:21:42] You're in charge of this podcast.
[00:21:44] That's right.
[00:21:44] It's produced by Brandon Gray.
[00:21:45] I want to know.
[00:21:46] I want you to know that these folks here don't care about the
[00:21:50] planet.
[00:21:50] They don't care about the plan.
[00:21:52] I'm mutin.
[00:21:52] See, you're muted.
[00:21:54] I, I want you to know I tried.
[00:21:57] I tried my best.
[00:22:00] There's nothing we could do.
[00:22:02] You guys ready to behave yourselves?
[00:22:04] Brand doesn't care about my time.
[00:22:06] I feel like I've been very well behaved.
[00:22:09] So.
[00:22:10] He doesn't care about you or the choices that you make.
[00:22:13] He's it.
[00:22:14] Brand thinks he's in.
[00:22:15] In regards to.
[00:22:16] And I wore blue.
[00:22:17] In regards to.
[00:22:18] In regards to you.
[00:22:19] Brand made me change shirts in the middle of this episode.
[00:22:22] Yeah.
[00:22:22] Because the other shirt was made of stuff that's going to kill
[00:22:24] the planet.
[00:22:26] What is your new shirt?
[00:22:27] Say.
[00:22:27] So it's happy dingus day.
[00:22:28] Happy dingus day.
[00:22:29] Late Lord's greatest holiday.
[00:22:30] She's great.
[00:22:33] Look at this.
[00:22:33] What's on it?
[00:22:34] It's like the symbol of dingus day.
[00:22:37] It's the dingus.
[00:22:39] I don't know.
[00:22:39] I don't know.
[00:22:40] Just all the like posts I was seeing that symbol was in them.
[00:22:45] So it's all of them.
[00:22:46] All of them.
[00:22:47] I don't know.
[00:22:47] It's dingus day occult.
[00:22:49] It's dingus day.
[00:22:50] I don't know.
[00:22:50] We're in.
[00:22:51] We're in.
[00:22:51] Dingus day, sir.
[00:22:53] So Scott.
[00:22:54] Best D-com review podcast.
[00:22:55] Yeah.
[00:22:56] That's what it said.
[00:22:56] All right.
[00:22:57] So Scott begins to feel like his family is embarrassed
[00:22:59] by him.
[00:23:01] Because we.
[00:23:02] National emblem of Poland, maybe?
[00:23:03] Yeah.
[00:23:03] Randy B hasn't listened to this episode yet.
[00:23:05] I think that's the problem.
[00:23:06] We find out that Scott, when he turns 14,
[00:23:11] if he doesn't have powers.
[00:23:12] Then he'll never have them.
[00:23:13] Then he'll never have them.
[00:23:14] And so he's got four days to clock his ticket.
[00:23:16] And he begins to feel like his family.
[00:23:18] OK.
[00:23:18] The clock is ticking.
[00:23:19] I thought you said he's got four days to clock his ticket.
[00:23:21] And I'm like, what is that?
[00:23:23] The clock is ticking.
[00:23:24] All right.
[00:23:25] The clock is ticking.
[00:23:27] You've got four days to clock your ticket, young man.
[00:23:29] That's exactly right.
[00:23:30] OK.
[00:23:31] So he begins to feel like his family's embarrassed by him.
[00:23:34] Because he doesn't have any powers.
[00:23:36] There's not even a hint of him.
[00:23:37] Well, it's not all on him.
[00:23:38] He overhears his parents saying that they're upset.
[00:23:40] But his younger sister, Jack Jack,
[00:23:43] has eyes that can burn through things.
[00:23:45] And she got the shiggas.
[00:23:46] His older brother's the flash.
[00:23:47] Her youngest sister.
[00:23:52] I don't know why I said it like that.
[00:23:53] He has multiple sisters?
[00:23:54] No.
[00:23:55] His younger sister was boiling water too.
[00:23:59] She's had powers forever.
[00:24:00] And he's just over here trying to clock his ticket.
[00:24:02] So he decides now's the time to clock my ticket.
[00:24:06] I am going to make it look like I have super strength
[00:24:09] by taking the hinges off the door.
[00:24:12] And then when I open it, I'll pull the door off.
[00:24:14] It'll look like I, you know.
[00:24:15] Which, to be fair, he still yanks that door and chucks it.
[00:24:19] And he's 13 years old.
[00:24:20] And he throws a door.
[00:24:22] He also replaced it with an inflatable door.
[00:24:24] You don't know that.
[00:24:25] You don't know that.
[00:24:27] But it's really interesting.
[00:24:28] Go try throwing a door sometime.
[00:24:29] It doesn't go like that.
[00:24:30] With one out, with one arm.
[00:24:31] With one arm.
[00:24:32] Hinges or not.
[00:24:33] Are we using that door for anything?
[00:24:34] Yeah.
[00:24:36] Some doors are a little bit more important than others.
[00:24:39] Am I right, Aaron?
[00:24:42] That one's not important.
[00:24:43] That one, that one.
[00:24:45] I mean really, either of them.
[00:24:46] Yeah.
[00:24:46] Any doors are optional.
[00:24:49] When the door is closed, it's optional.
[00:24:50] There's a few doors out there.
[00:24:51] I think we do need that door.
[00:24:52] Yeah.
[00:24:52] That door is important.
[00:24:53] Yes.
[00:24:55] So he's like, this is great.
[00:24:57] My family's.
[00:24:58] See you back next week.
[00:24:58] We're going to rate the doors in the office.
[00:25:00] My family's totally buying this.
[00:25:02] They think that I have super strength.
[00:25:04] And then so then they're having dinner
[00:25:06] and they're like, hey, I bet you can fly now.
[00:25:08] Now that you have the super strength,
[00:25:09] I bet you can fly.
[00:25:10] Why don't you go give it a shot?
[00:25:11] How's he going to get around this one?
[00:25:12] Well, the family challenges him to do it
[00:25:15] and then they still.
[00:25:16] They still have dinner.
[00:25:18] Nobody makes the move to get it from the table.
[00:25:20] He says, everybody close your eyes.
[00:25:21] Everybody close your eyes.
[00:25:22] And so he goes upstairs.
[00:25:24] He grabs his soccer ball.
[00:25:25] He runs back downstairs.
[00:25:26] He says, up, up.
[00:25:28] Because that's what you say.
[00:25:29] We're going to go up and away.
[00:25:30] Up, up and away.
[00:25:31] Just to name the movie.
[00:25:33] And throws it up.
[00:25:36] Soccer ball.
[00:25:37] The soccer ball up into the air.
[00:25:38] And so that it kind of hits.
[00:25:40] Creates a rustling.
[00:25:41] A little rustling.
[00:25:42] So it sounds like you just flew through some low branches.
[00:25:46] At which point the parents hear this.
[00:25:47] Like he hit a tree.
[00:25:48] He hit a tree.
[00:25:49] And now we need to run out to see if our kid can fly.
[00:25:52] That's exactly right.
[00:25:53] He's never flown before.
[00:25:54] Are we going to go out and offer tips?
[00:25:56] Are we going to teach him anything?
[00:25:58] He's got it.
[00:25:59] Are we going to fly him up ourselves and let him go?
[00:26:03] Not yet.
[00:26:04] Not yet, we are.
[00:26:05] And so then they're all looking up like where is he?
[00:26:09] And then he makes a jumping sound behind them.
[00:26:11] It's like, whoo, what a fly.
[00:26:12] They're like, you did it.
[00:26:13] Amazing.
[00:26:14] This is phenomenal.
[00:26:15] And then they buy this.
[00:26:16] Yes.
[00:26:17] This family of superheroes buys it.
[00:26:18] They're pumps.
[00:26:18] They love it.
[00:26:19] Every single member of the family buys it?
[00:26:21] Well, grandpa's on.
[00:26:24] Sherman Hemsley, the venerable Sherman Hemsley
[00:26:26] does not buy it.
[00:26:27] Grandpa is like, I know what's going on here.
[00:26:30] But I'm sure you'll get.
[00:26:31] Basically, he agrees to keep the secret for now.
[00:26:34] Sure enough, it's not going to have any negative result at all.
[00:26:38] Scott goes to do his homework and the homework,
[00:26:42] as everyone knows, is the CD-ROM.
[00:26:45] Put the CD-ROM in there.
[00:26:46] The CD-ROM, and you do that, and then you.
[00:26:48] And it works on him.
[00:26:49] He shows up to school the next day,
[00:26:51] and the entire class is wearing the same color
[00:26:54] that Erin is, and she thought about that.
[00:26:56] Of course she's getting it.
[00:26:57] I did my homework, and I watched
[00:26:59] the DVD CD-ROM last night on my Mac.
[00:27:01] Yes, getting an entire middle school class
[00:27:05] to all do their homework.
[00:27:07] Except for the one dingus who wore red.
[00:27:08] There is one guy.
[00:27:09] Happy dingus day.
[00:27:10] That felt like it was towards you.
[00:27:12] There is one dingus who doesn't do it and is wearing red.
[00:27:15] How dare you?
[00:27:16] But it has nothing to do with you.
[00:27:17] You're doing your own thing.
[00:27:18] That's right.
[00:27:19] Yeah, the fact that you're wearing a dingus day red shirt
[00:27:21] has nothing to do with the way I phrased that sentence.
[00:27:24] Nothing.
[00:27:25] But yeah, if I.
[00:27:25] Your outfit, everything to do with this.
[00:27:27] If you had a class that's.
[00:27:28] There's a nine nothing.
[00:27:29] If you had a class of 20, Dan,
[00:27:30] and only one of them didn't do the homework,
[00:27:32] you'd be pumped.
[00:27:33] I'd be though in 20 middle schoolers.
[00:27:35] Yeah, 19 of them do the homework.
[00:27:37] That'd be amazing.
[00:27:38] And it seems like it's school-wide though,
[00:27:41] this initiative.
[00:27:42] That was the question I had,
[00:27:43] and then they immediately shoot
[00:27:45] to the outside of the school,
[00:27:46] and everyone's in blue, so Disney heard me.
[00:27:48] They're all.
[00:27:49] Disney answered.
[00:27:50] And Malcolm is like, okay, now we know that it works.
[00:27:52] Now it's time to really begin to.
[00:27:54] It's having fun.
[00:27:55] To up it up a little bit.
[00:27:56] Up, up, up in a way if you will.
[00:27:58] And Nina's like to learn composting?
[00:28:00] He's like, yeah, yeah.
[00:28:00] Yeah, totally.
[00:28:01] It's all about that.
[00:28:03] Oh, it's poor sweet Nina.
[00:28:04] Yeah.
[00:28:05] And Scott's brother comes to visit him at school,
[00:28:07] sees everybody is wearing blue,
[00:28:08] and he's like, that's weird,
[00:28:09] but you know, you kids will be kids, right?
[00:28:11] Oh yeah.
[00:28:12] We do find out because Randy throws
[00:28:17] crumpled up piece of aluminum foil at Scott.
[00:28:21] His brother catches it so that doesn't hit him.
[00:28:23] And we see his hand begin to like,
[00:28:26] there's like a green glow on it,
[00:28:27] which is to show obviously pain.
[00:28:29] We all know green glow on body equal pain.
[00:28:33] And so without that green glow, we wouldn't know.
[00:28:35] We would know that it hurts.
[00:28:37] No.
[00:28:38] Is he acting?
[00:28:39] Is he trying to show us that it hurts?
[00:28:40] Yes, but without green glow.
[00:28:41] Without green glow just be in the dark.
[00:28:42] Everyone knows the saying,
[00:28:43] without green glow, we don't know.
[00:28:46] Pain.
[00:28:47] Pain.
[00:28:48] And they're still working on the same.
[00:28:50] It's a little bit, yeah, it's in development.
[00:28:52] It's in development from the saying people.
[00:28:54] I mean it's been 24 years,
[00:28:55] but it's still working.
[00:28:56] They're still working.
[00:28:57] That ring glow.
[00:28:58] No.
[00:28:59] You won't know.
[00:28:59] They forgot about it.
[00:29:00] They're coming back.
[00:29:01] You think they could just drop the pain part
[00:29:03] and just say you won't know?
[00:29:04] That ring glow, you won't know.
[00:29:06] But I mean you could get in the,
[00:29:07] yeah of course.
[00:29:08] Yeah, you gotta have pain in there.
[00:29:10] So that's what they've been trying to solve
[00:29:12] for a quarter of a century.
[00:29:14] Yeah, 100% yes.
[00:29:16] You know we can't solve that for them.
[00:29:19] So they get home and Scott's dad is like
[00:29:25] flying lesson number two, my guy.
[00:29:27] Let's go for a fly.
[00:29:28] We'll fly to soccer practice.
[00:29:30] We'll fly to soccer practice.
[00:29:31] So he-
[00:29:32] You wanna see us coming or going?
[00:29:33] Dad is doing his, but they're a big service
[00:29:36] and is like I'm gonna hold you at first.
[00:29:38] You know, sometimes it's tough.
[00:29:40] Yeah, yeah, the take off is difficult.
[00:29:41] Let's get you up there.
[00:29:42] I'll get you high.
[00:29:42] Kinda see how you're doing.
[00:29:44] So they're flying and he's like
[00:29:45] you're not gonna let me go are you?
[00:29:47] And dad's like, not without a warning.
[00:29:50] And here's your warning.
[00:29:51] And then he lets him go.
[00:29:53] And his dad watches his son fall to his dad.
[00:29:59] Roll the credits.
[00:30:00] That was up, up and away.
[00:30:02] And the lesson we learned was don't lie.
[00:30:05] Could you imagine a movie called Up and Away
[00:30:07] where the main character dies from falling down, down,
[00:30:11] down, down below?
[00:30:12] Down, down below.
[00:30:14] His dad goes real fast and saves them.
[00:30:17] And he's like, I've never seen powers go
[00:30:20] in and out like that.
[00:30:22] Still doesn't get it.
[00:30:22] It's really weird.
[00:30:23] What's a dummy, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb movie?
[00:30:25] Sure it's nothing.
[00:30:26] Nina leading the pack.
[00:30:27] It is time for a birthday party.
[00:30:29] 14 going on 40.
[00:30:32] And it is time for him to 14 birthday
[00:30:35] going on 40 people there.
[00:30:37] I don't know, maybe something like that.
[00:30:38] Oh okay, and they're all super heroes.
[00:30:40] Are they his friends?
[00:30:40] No, just a superhero get together.
[00:30:42] Yeah, you know superheroes gotta stick together.
[00:30:45] Well, I mean any other year he can invite his friends
[00:30:48] to a party but 14 is a big year.
[00:30:50] Cause we gotta do all the superheroes
[00:30:52] to observe how he doesn't have any powers altogether.
[00:30:55] They gotta do the pledge, the pledge of superhero.
[00:30:58] And he is about to say, hey, I can't do this.
[00:31:02] But then his dad's like, you gotta do this.
[00:31:05] And he finally says yes, I'm ready to be a superhero.
[00:31:08] Yeah, there's a pause and the whole room is like
[00:31:10] something is happening.
[00:31:12] And then he finally says I do.
[00:31:13] And they're like, oh, phew.
[00:31:15] So at the same time Malcolm, Nina, the gang,
[00:31:20] they are all at headquarters.
[00:31:22] And Malcolm has a buddy who's like kind of in
[00:31:26] the evil cahoots with.
[00:31:27] In the evil cahoots.
[00:31:28] And they're always like talking to each other like,
[00:31:29] man Nina's so dumb, right?
[00:31:31] Like with this whole thing.
[00:31:32] She doesn't get it.
[00:31:34] So they come up with an idea
[00:31:35] because they need to try to figure out
[00:31:38] who the superheroes are so that they can put a,
[00:31:42] put it into all this.
[00:31:43] Put it into all of this.
[00:31:44] Put it into all of this.
[00:31:45] That's right.
[00:31:46] And so then no one can hold them back, right?
[00:31:47] Yeah.
[00:31:48] And so they decide the best way is to blow up headquarters
[00:31:54] with Nina inside of it.
[00:31:56] And then she can.
[00:31:57] It's not headquarters, it is just an abandoned building.
[00:31:59] Oh, okay.
[00:32:00] It's not itself.
[00:32:01] Cause we are at headquarters later on.
[00:32:02] You're right, you're right.
[00:32:03] I didn't know if they moved headquarters.
[00:32:04] This town has multiple warehouses.
[00:32:06] Multiple warehouses.
[00:32:07] Warehouse-I, if you search.
[00:32:09] Warehouse.
[00:32:11] However you choose to pluralize.
[00:32:13] However you warehouse.
[00:32:14] However you warehouse, I hope you warehouse with us.
[00:32:15] We are not judgmental here.
[00:32:17] Brand maybe.
[00:32:18] Brand, yeah.
[00:32:19] Yeah, of course he is.
[00:32:20] Well it depends on your warehouse
[00:32:21] that's damaging the earth.
[00:32:23] Yeah, I got something.
[00:32:24] You and Brett would throw back a couple of Bruce keys
[00:32:27] and make fun of warehouses.
[00:32:29] I love how me being,
[00:32:32] being-
[00:32:33] Pro environment.
[00:32:34] Pro environment is somehow makes me Brett's best friend.
[00:32:37] That's how we got there.
[00:32:39] He was definitely on board with global warming.
[00:32:42] Other logical fallacies out there.
[00:32:43] We're all pro-earth around here.
[00:32:45] It's like, we love the troops.
[00:32:46] Are we?
[00:32:47] Just cause I love the troops all of a sudden.
[00:32:48] I don't want to give any money
[00:32:49] to have said anything about the troops.
[00:32:51] I'm just making a comparison.
[00:32:52] We also timed this episode
[00:32:53] to come out in April, the month of Earth Day.
[00:32:56] Which is April-
[00:32:58] 14th.
[00:32:59] First.
[00:33:00] 20 seconds.
[00:33:01] Oh, so close!
[00:33:03] Man, I wish I said,
[00:33:04] so it came out, it's coming up.
[00:33:06] It's coming up in just a couple weeks.
[00:33:08] A week and a half maybe.
[00:33:09] What are we doing for it everybody?
[00:33:11] Getting probably burned.
[00:33:12] I mean, we're taking the day off.
[00:33:13] Burn it, burn it again.
[00:33:14] You know what we should do,
[00:33:14] we should buy an electric car
[00:33:16] and then we return it.
[00:33:17] Return it.
[00:33:20] Get the credit, give somebody else the car.
[00:33:24] Some Earth Day right now.
[00:33:25] Should we buy it before April 15th?
[00:33:27] Before tax.
[00:33:28] Well, but that would be still a fiscal year.
[00:33:30] I mean, still, you know.
[00:33:31] That's not how I understand it.
[00:33:34] So-
[00:33:35] Decum descendants where we know taxes.
[00:33:39] I'm still like kind of foggy on why Nina agreed to be
[00:33:43] inside a building when it blows up,
[00:33:45] but nevertheless-
[00:33:46] I don't think she knew.
[00:33:47] You don't think she knew?
[00:33:48] She dumbed about a lot of things.
[00:33:49] I think they said, hey, we asked the superheroes
[00:33:52] to come here, when they do,
[00:33:54] you just gotta slip this on in.
[00:33:55] And she's like, cool, cool, cool.
[00:33:57] I don't think she knew she'd be fighting for her life.
[00:34:00] We will be blowing you up at a girl.
[00:34:03] So they do blow it up.
[00:34:04] She's kinda-
[00:34:05] Thanks for taking it on for the team only female.
[00:34:08] Standing at the middle of this warehouse.
[00:34:10] I take it back, there is a couple other females.
[00:34:11] Yeah, and we would never blow this building up with you at it.
[00:34:15] No, it's not even-
[00:34:16] We talked about it.
[00:34:18] It's never been something we would even-
[00:34:19] We'd be good for the earth first of all.
[00:34:21] Right.
[00:34:22] Yeah.
[00:34:23] I mean, Brian maybe.
[00:34:24] Maybe, yeah.
[00:34:27] Maybe we, I mean, if we were gonna-
[00:34:29] If we were-
[00:34:30] Brian, they're building some fire.
[00:34:31] We're not close to there.
[00:34:32] Well, I mean, I'm the only diversity this company has,
[00:34:35] so you gotta keep me around for awhile.
[00:34:36] I don't think, if you look at our 1099 file
[00:34:38] and all the hosts that we have on the podcast ever,
[00:34:41] that is not correct.
[00:34:42] I was just thinking about physically in the office.
[00:34:44] Well, from a standpoint of paid, like the payroll,
[00:34:47] you're our only everything.
[00:34:51] So you're our only hire.
[00:34:53] So yes, we are 100%.
[00:34:57] In fact, we need to hire a man for some diversity
[00:35:01] if that's the case.
[00:35:02] That's actually really true.
[00:35:02] That's a good point.
[00:35:03] The company is 100% female employees.
[00:35:06] That's right.
[00:35:07] We did it.
[00:35:07] We did it.
[00:35:08] That's right.
[00:35:09] You make on average more than all the men on the payroll.
[00:35:12] That's true.
[00:35:13] So we're trouble lasers.
[00:35:15] We are.
[00:35:16] Equal rights amendment and he said,
[00:35:18] we did it here.
[00:35:20] We've cured gender equality.
[00:35:21] That's right.
[00:35:22] So, all right, what do we do here?
[00:35:24] So two men-
[00:35:25] So two men-
[00:35:26] Sure gender inequality, right?
[00:35:27] Yeah.
[00:35:27] We have-
[00:35:28] We have gender equality.
[00:35:29] We have gender equality.
[00:35:30] And Erin, you've always been saying
[00:35:32] it's gonna take two men to cure-
[00:35:34] Two white dudes.
[00:35:35] Two white dudes to cure.
[00:35:36] But you get two white dudes in both of those issues.
[00:35:39] Yeah.
[00:35:40] I mean, white dudes are having a moment right now.
[00:35:41] They've really been just-
[00:35:43] They've been down.
[00:35:44] Suffering for a while,
[00:35:45] but they're having a comeback.
[00:35:46] We're back, baby!
[00:35:47] We're back and better than ever.
[00:35:51] But not better.
[00:35:52] I mean, we're finally at a women's history month.
[00:35:54] So just-
[00:35:54] That's been forever.
[00:35:58] Oh no.
[00:35:59] I said-
[00:36:00] You're not helping Brent Kevin on case there, buddy.
[00:36:03] We agree on something.
[00:36:04] So-
[00:36:05] So,
[00:36:07] where was I?
[00:36:08] Ah!
[00:36:09] The building explodes.
[00:36:09] You were taking yourself a hold?
[00:36:10] The building explodes and all of the superheroes
[00:36:14] with their various accessories find out
[00:36:18] that there is a fire and a woman is inside.
[00:36:21] And they're all like,
[00:36:22] are there dogs on the grill over there?
[00:36:24] Or like they're all just-
[00:36:24] They are like, we got a party.
[00:36:26] Before I move on to just the absurdity of that-
[00:36:29] Yeah.
[00:36:30] Before the absurdity of superhero technology,
[00:36:32] there is one superhero who gets the beep-eep
[00:36:35] that there is an alert.
[00:36:36] Goes like this with her hands.
[00:36:39] A screen appears before her fingers.
[00:36:41] It gives her the alert
[00:36:42] and then also a GPS location of the accident.
[00:36:46] 1999, baby.
[00:36:46] And-
[00:36:47] It's impressive.
[00:36:48] My man, Scott's dad over here, has a beeper.
[00:36:50] And he looks at the beeper
[00:36:53] and it doesn't say numbers.
[00:36:54] It's like, oh, a woman's trapped in a building
[00:36:56] of 46 or whatever.
[00:36:58] It's very specific.
[00:37:00] So I just wanna know how we go from beeper to computer.
[00:37:04] Well, they're all given the same info,
[00:37:07] just in different ways.
[00:37:08] In different ways.
[00:37:09] But they all decide to have a full discussion
[00:37:12] about who should go.
[00:37:13] And I don't remember who-
[00:37:14] Is it you? Is it me?
[00:37:15] I don't remember who comes up with this idea,
[00:37:17] but they say Scott should go.
[00:37:18] It's his birthday, first day as a hero.
[00:37:20] He's finally a superhero.
[00:37:21] Yeah, this will be-
[00:37:22] He should any of us go with him to help.
[00:37:24] No, we'll watch on TV.
[00:37:26] We'll all be here, the safest place on the planet.
[00:37:29] It's like baby bird just pushing by the nest.
[00:37:31] That's right.
[00:37:31] He'll either fly or die.
[00:37:33] And I'd never do that to a baby bird.
[00:37:38] You know what?
[00:37:38] If your parents would've just thrown you
[00:37:39] in the swimming pool when you were a baby,
[00:37:41] that would've probably helped you a ton.
[00:37:42] I don't know why you're bringing that.
[00:37:43] That felt mean spirited.
[00:37:46] So he goes, he obviously has to act like he's flying.
[00:37:50] And then he rides his bike-
[00:37:52] I can see him running in a pool.
[00:37:52] He does great.
[00:37:53] Thank you.
[00:37:54] He doesn't even stand and it's waist deep.
[00:37:55] I can swim now decently.
[00:37:58] All right, done.
[00:37:59] I've not seen you in the deep end of my pool ever.
[00:38:01] I have swim into deep.
[00:38:02] That's not true at all.
[00:38:03] No, I've not seen you in the deep end.
[00:38:04] 100% I have.
[00:38:05] No, I've seen you on the edge.
[00:38:06] Never seen you swim in the middle of the deep end.
[00:38:07] The edge of glory?
[00:38:09] I've swam from one end of the deep to the next.
[00:38:12] Yes, I have.
[00:38:13] I don't know if I'll ever do it.
[00:38:14] I have.
[00:38:14] Just because you don't remember
[00:38:15] doesn't mean that it happened.
[00:38:16] That's fair.
[00:38:17] I mean, it's a nice day out today.
[00:38:18] The pool's open.
[00:38:19] Oh yeah, we could do that today.
[00:38:20] My arm hurts a little bit.
[00:38:22] I gotta rest up.
[00:38:23] From when I pushed you earlier?
[00:38:24] Yeah.
[00:38:24] From last week when I pushed you still hurt.
[00:38:26] There's a big push.
[00:38:27] Sorry.
[00:38:28] He shows up on his bike and he sneaks in there
[00:38:30] and he is trying to save this woman
[00:38:34] in the most logical way to do so, which is...
[00:38:36] Which is to give the fireman a run around.
[00:38:38] Yes, to run around the fireman,
[00:38:40] go inside on ground level
[00:38:43] and then say we've gotta get out of this building
[00:38:45] so they climb.
[00:38:46] They climb some ladders.
[00:38:48] Were you two feet from the door?
[00:38:50] Yes.
[00:38:51] Should we go back out that door?
[00:38:52] There is light in that direction that I came in.
[00:38:54] No, we should not go back out.
[00:38:55] They climb up ladders.
[00:38:56] They end up up high finally out
[00:38:59] but they've gotta get down to the ground level.
[00:39:02] So he has the hose and they hang on and then it falls
[00:39:06] and so they're about to fall a whole story.
[00:39:09] I mean some people don't think I'm important here
[00:39:10] but I think I'm important here.
[00:39:10] Some people don't.
[00:39:11] They're about to fall a full story
[00:39:15] and luckily on the TV, granddad had walked in
[00:39:20] and the song was like, hey, you need to know.
[00:39:21] I know you sent Scott but here's the deal.
[00:39:24] He doesn't have powers.
[00:39:25] He doesn't have them.
[00:39:26] And so...
[00:39:27] I know you sent him.
[00:39:27] There's somebody in danger.
[00:39:28] They're like, we have made a mistake.
[00:39:30] So his dad flies and saves them just in time.
[00:39:34] I don't know if we've said that his name is
[00:39:35] Bronzy.
[00:39:36] Bronzy Eagle.
[00:39:37] Bronzy Eagle.
[00:39:38] And saves the day.
[00:39:39] This is wonderful.
[00:39:41] In the process, Scott's mask had fallen off.
[00:39:46] And so Nina picks up the mask
[00:39:48] and is like, this will come in handy.
[00:39:50] I'm obviously...
[00:39:52] I'm a good guy but...
[00:39:53] I'm a good guy.
[00:39:54] I'm sure my buds didn't mean to blow me up.
[00:39:56] No, that was a pure accident.
[00:39:57] I'll go give them this information.
[00:39:58] I mean, I could be pretty ignorant for a while
[00:40:01] but if you put me in a building and blow it up,
[00:40:04] I do think I'm out.
[00:40:05] There'd be some trust issues there.
[00:40:07] It'd be some trust issues.
[00:40:07] I don't mess you up.
[00:40:08] I do think I'm walking away from whatever it is.
[00:40:10] I would say this.
[00:40:11] I don't want to spoil anything
[00:40:12] but Nina basically doesn't get a single consequence
[00:40:15] and she literally is there the whole time
[00:40:18] all of this is happening and is a part of it
[00:40:20] even if she doesn't know it.
[00:40:22] And people are just like, oh sweet Nina,
[00:40:24] here's a head pat and then they just let her go.
[00:40:26] It's unbelievable.
[00:40:28] So...
[00:40:29] I mean, but when we get investigated for all of our fraud,
[00:40:31] I did not know about it at all
[00:40:33] and I would also like to walk away from it.
[00:40:34] We told you.
[00:40:35] On the record.
[00:40:36] We told you not to bring that up.
[00:40:38] So the program, the Earth Protectors Program,
[00:40:43] they, Malcolm decides,
[00:40:46] we gotta do an update.
[00:40:48] And so they send some new CD-ROMs.
[00:40:51] That CD-ROM causes all of the kids
[00:40:55] to steal money from their parents.
[00:40:57] What?
[00:40:58] I know and I don't like it, but Scott gets caught.
[00:41:01] Scott gets caught before he can go to school
[00:41:05] and his parents are like, I can't believe this.
[00:41:07] How does he get caught?
[00:41:08] So, hey, his, yeah, everybody's like,
[00:41:11] where's the money, where's the money?
[00:41:13] His youngest is like X-ray vision.
[00:41:15] Scott can't...
[00:41:16] All of his sisters, his youngest sister.
[00:41:17] Everybody's like, hey, all of our money's missing.
[00:41:19] Scott's like, I don't know anything about that.
[00:41:20] So X-ray, his youngest, X-ray visions,
[00:41:24] sees the money in the bag
[00:41:25] and the parents are very disappointed.
[00:41:26] He's like, I don't remember this happening.
[00:41:28] They're like, you're a liar.
[00:41:28] Liar, we're not believing you.
[00:41:30] We have a bit of a trust issue
[00:41:32] seeing as how you made us think you could fly.
[00:41:34] Yeah, I'm not,
[00:41:35] what does he say I'm not in the position
[00:41:36] of believing Scott or something like that?
[00:41:37] Yeah, so a real burn, a real...
[00:41:40] Got him.
[00:41:41] As a kid, if my dad said that, I would be,
[00:41:43] oh man, like just a disappointment there's brutal.
[00:41:46] Yeah, you almost as a kid lied about having superpowers,
[00:41:49] but you saw this movie first.
[00:41:50] I did.
[00:41:51] You're like, I'm not gonna go down that road.
[00:41:52] Less than learned.
[00:41:53] Is it hurt?
[00:41:54] That's right.
[00:41:55] That's why my mom told her friends
[00:41:57] that she knows what it's like to raise Jesus
[00:41:59] because of me.
[00:42:01] That's a true story.
[00:42:03] So they...
[00:42:04] We had a time to unpack that.
[00:42:05] No, you gotta go to therapy for that one.
[00:42:07] That was a great kid.
[00:42:08] No, I was a great kid.
[00:42:09] We had a great time.
[00:42:10] That's the moral of the story is I was a great kid.
[00:42:12] I was a great kid and this is my show!
[00:42:16] So...
[00:42:17] And that's why you never learned to swim
[00:42:18] as you were too busy walking on the water.
[00:42:20] Oh, water, water.
[00:42:21] I got it.
[00:42:22] It makes sense.
[00:42:23] I'm walking on water.
[00:42:25] Right.
[00:42:26] So...
[00:42:27] So go back, we don't have to go to dance pool today.
[00:42:28] Goes to school and all of the other kids
[00:42:32] are just like handing the envelopes
[00:42:34] back to one of the earth protector people
[00:42:37] and inside all the envelopes are the money.
[00:42:39] The kids don't need...
[00:42:40] Which if any adult in the courtyard
[00:42:42] wanted to catch onto the plan,
[00:42:43] they could just look
[00:42:44] because the henchmen is opening every single envelope
[00:42:46] to take out the money.
[00:42:48] Go ahead.
[00:42:49] I love how these people have this power
[00:42:51] and they're like, what if we get petty cash from parents?
[00:42:53] Like whatever they have on them, tins, 20s.
[00:42:55] It's like Trump asking for a donation.
[00:42:57] Try to rob a bank.
[00:42:58] Try to rob a bank and it didn't work.
[00:42:59] The next logical thing is to steal...
[00:43:01] Petty cash from one middle school.
[00:43:02] They can't control adults.
[00:43:04] So we gotta start small.
[00:43:05] So they can control what's her name's mom.
[00:43:08] That worked out.
[00:43:09] It's a different program.
[00:43:10] Well, get there, different program.
[00:43:11] It was more intense.
[00:43:12] More intense.
[00:43:13] What are they doing?
[00:43:14] I don't know.
[00:43:15] But Nina's been working on it.
[00:43:17] They've been doing trial and error.
[00:43:18] Okay, this time.
[00:43:19] So they try to give the disc.
[00:43:20] Yes, okay.
[00:43:21] So, so, so they do a...
[00:43:23] They run a program to match the mask
[00:43:26] to the eyes of a middle schooler.
[00:43:30] This program, they whipped it up in a day
[00:43:32] and they realize we know whose mask is belonged to.
[00:43:36] A kid named Scott.
[00:43:36] So they pull Scott in for a special session.
[00:43:40] His teacher's like,
[00:43:40] Hey, earth protectors, they chose you.
[00:43:42] You get this special program.
[00:43:44] And the teacher questions none of it.
[00:43:46] She walks out, the program starts.
[00:43:49] Scott is hypnotized.
[00:43:50] Malcolm walks in and is like,
[00:43:51] give us all the information about your parents,
[00:43:53] blah, blah, blah, all this.
[00:43:54] Dislikes, weaknesses.
[00:43:56] Do they like foil?
[00:43:58] Stuff like that.
[00:43:59] And so...
[00:44:00] Lucky you asked that question.
[00:44:01] Yeah.
[00:44:02] So now they know all of this information.
[00:44:05] They also then give the next day,
[00:44:08] hey, you get a special day.
[00:44:10] You wanted to want another thing.
[00:44:11] Earth protectors wanted me to give you this thing.
[00:44:13] This and it has like a,
[00:44:15] it has a red thing.
[00:44:18] And that would work perfectly.
[00:44:20] Had he not on his way out of the classroom,
[00:44:23] bumps into Crush Amy.
[00:44:26] And they swapped discs.
[00:44:27] Discs switch.
[00:44:29] And so apparently for some reason on this day,
[00:44:33] they asked parents to do the assignment with the kids.
[00:44:39] I'm guessing because all the actual discs
[00:44:41] had real assignments on them.
[00:44:43] That's right, because he puts his in
[00:44:45] and the parents are like, we don't believe you.
[00:44:46] This isn't...
[00:44:47] It was a real assignment.
[00:44:48] So all the kids, all the other parents would be like,
[00:44:50] all right, this is just a normal disc.
[00:44:52] And it's a snake talking about compost.
[00:44:54] That's right, as you do.
[00:44:55] But it needed to not be weird
[00:44:56] that Scott's parents watched his disc with him.
[00:44:58] Right, that's exactly right.
[00:45:00] So they also watched Amy's parents.
[00:45:03] Sit down.
[00:45:04] She puts in the special disc, gets hypnotized to go...
[00:45:10] Does that mean anything?
[00:45:12] No, to go and rob Big Bank.
[00:45:15] And they're like, rob Big Bank
[00:45:16] and then come to Big Whirlhouse.
[00:45:18] Straight here, straight here.
[00:45:18] That's right.
[00:45:19] And so she does this all no problem.
[00:45:22] Once again, Nina's like,
[00:45:23] I didn't even know about the bank thing.
[00:45:24] Yeah.
[00:45:25] He just throws that in there.
[00:45:26] I redid the program to have her stop at the Big Bank.
[00:45:28] Yes.
[00:45:29] Well, because Nina's like,
[00:45:30] they should be here by now.
[00:45:31] Yes.
[00:45:32] The program just said get dressed to come here.
[00:45:34] And he's like, well, I have them run some errands.
[00:45:37] Give me a quick bank robbery, please.
[00:45:39] And so the word gets out
[00:45:42] that Amy's mom has robbed a bank.
[00:45:45] And that's how the superheros...
[00:45:49] They get her, they catch her and they tie her up.
[00:45:51] Right, but how did the superhero,
[00:45:53] the superheros hear that she went
[00:45:55] to this warehouse or something?
[00:45:56] I think she's caught.
[00:45:57] Yeah, there is an alert.
[00:45:58] There's an alert.
[00:45:59] Woman Robb Bank went to warehouse.
[00:46:02] Because when he called...
[00:46:02] And she's men's warehouse, I think.
[00:46:04] Scott uses the pay phone at school to call grandpa
[00:46:06] because grandpa's the only one who believes him at this point.
[00:46:08] Right.
[00:46:09] And grandpa's like, yeah, we all got an alert
[00:46:11] to go to the warehouse.
[00:46:12] And they're like, or to go to Earth Protector's headquarters.
[00:46:15] Oh yes, Scott figured it out, by the way.
[00:46:17] Scott figured it out because he saw the woman
[00:46:20] from the fire getting into the Earth Protector's thing
[00:46:23] and she's like, oh, all of this is also making sense.
[00:46:25] He also remember, he also was handing back.
[00:46:27] He didn't realize it was a separate disk.
[00:46:29] He's handing his disk back into the teacher
[00:46:31] and the teacher goes, this isn't the disk that gave you.
[00:46:33] This is the wrong disk.
[00:46:34] Right.
[00:46:35] And then he's like, oh.
[00:46:37] Right.
[00:46:39] By failing to protect you, I am part of the problem.
[00:46:41] That's right.
[00:46:42] So all of the superheroes do beat grandpa to the warehouse
[00:46:46] and unfortunately for them, they know all of the secrets.
[00:46:50] They know about the aluminum foil.
[00:46:52] They have created an aluminum foil jail.
[00:46:57] A superhero's worst nightmare.
[00:46:59] I can hear you all, you're beginning to,
[00:47:01] your heart's beginning to beat.
[00:47:02] Without the green glow, you don't know.
[00:47:03] You don't know.
[00:47:04] But once they're in there, there is tons of green glow.
[00:47:06] Tons of green.
[00:47:06] You know that, you know the paint.
[00:47:08] So much freaking green glow.
[00:47:09] You know the paint.
[00:47:10] Hella green glow everywhere.
[00:47:12] You're right.
[00:47:13] And so he decides, Scott does,
[00:47:16] that who knows how long it's gonna take grandpa
[00:47:19] to get there.
[00:47:20] I'm gonna get my friends, we're gonna go say the day.
[00:47:22] So he tells Randy and Amy, all right,
[00:47:26] I gotta come clean.
[00:47:27] I'm a superhero.
[00:47:28] Well, I'm not a superhero.
[00:47:29] My parents are superheroes.
[00:47:30] They've been captured.
[00:47:31] We gotta save them.
[00:47:32] Amy, I think your mom was hypnotized.
[00:47:34] We gotta go save them.
[00:47:35] Well he does, oh no, he's like that superhero kid
[00:47:37] you saw on the TV and you were making fun of him.
[00:47:39] That was me.
[00:47:40] That was me.
[00:47:41] We have to go.
[00:47:43] And you know, good friends,
[00:47:46] they don't ask for almost any explanation.
[00:47:48] No, they're in.
[00:47:48] They're just like, all right,
[00:47:49] you said you're a superhero.
[00:47:50] Let's do this thing.
[00:47:51] Let's go save Amy's mom.
[00:47:52] I hope I'd be that kind of friend.
[00:47:53] I do too.
[00:47:54] Like I hope like-
[00:47:55] I know I wouldn't, like I know I would have questions.
[00:47:57] I know that about me.
[00:47:58] Correct me.
[00:47:59] Like a few questions I need to get cleared up,
[00:48:01] but I'd love to think that I'm like,
[00:48:04] I think if you showed up and you're like,
[00:48:06] we gotta go right now it's an emergency.
[00:48:07] I would just go.
[00:48:08] I was literally just thinking in my head
[00:48:11] if I, I think it would depend for you
[00:48:12] on who is saying it.
[00:48:13] Correct.
[00:48:14] But I think if I busted in here
[00:48:16] and was like, Dan, we need to get in your truck
[00:48:19] and we need to go to this location.
[00:48:20] And I was like really-
[00:48:21] I'd be in.
[00:48:22] You'd be like, all right, let's go.
[00:48:23] Yes.
[00:48:24] Explain it in a way.
[00:48:24] That's right.
[00:48:25] I would.
[00:48:26] Thank you.
[00:48:27] I feel better about myself.
[00:48:28] And I think Brandon would also just be like, yeah.
[00:48:31] I really anybody, anybody could ask me.
[00:48:34] I'd be like, yeah, you're superior.
[00:48:35] I got it.
[00:48:36] I think I could come in less than a panic
[00:48:37] and Brandon would be like, yeah, let's go.
[00:48:39] All right, cool.
[00:48:40] So-
[00:48:41] My e-bike is out back.
[00:48:42] You can help me pedal.
[00:48:43] It's a tandem.
[00:48:44] It's a tandem electric bike.
[00:48:45] You definitely have to pedal that.
[00:48:47] I'll even tell you a tandem electric bike.
[00:48:50] They can only handle one of these guys.
[00:48:52] The battery doesn't exist
[00:48:56] to be able to pull two with nothing.
[00:49:01] So they show up-
[00:49:03] I might be on Brandon's side here
[00:49:04] that he's important to them.
[00:49:06] So they show up.
[00:49:07] Thursday is gonna be so fun.
[00:49:08] They show up.
[00:49:09] Last Thursday was so fun.
[00:49:10] The weird, I'm not even gonna-
[00:49:13] No one knows what you're talking about
[00:49:14] and I'm not gonna let you.
[00:49:15] I don't know.
[00:49:16] So the cage is there.
[00:49:20] The cage is there.
[00:49:23] The cage is there also for people
[00:49:24] that are just listening to this podcast.
[00:49:26] That's a weird thing to say.
[00:49:29] The fear of the resurrection,
[00:49:30] I rebuke you Brandon.
[00:49:31] Yeah, more than fair.
[00:49:33] The kids show up and-
[00:49:35] And in the fear of the resurrection,
[00:49:36] I forgive you.
[00:49:37] Thank you.
[00:49:38] And Nina at this point decides,
[00:49:42] you know what?
[00:49:43] I think I've been on the wrong side.
[00:49:44] These folks are up to no good.
[00:49:46] He's literally like-
[00:49:48] Nina. Five minutes left in the movie.
[00:49:49] Nina.
[00:49:50] Nina.
[00:49:51] Girl.
[00:49:52] She tries to do a-
[00:49:54] You're so smart.
[00:49:56] Why are you so dumb?
[00:49:57] Stupid.
[00:49:58] Malcolm's plan here is to hypnotize the superheroes,
[00:50:01] take their powers.
[00:50:02] Yeah.
[00:50:03] DNA, read structure or whatever.
[00:50:04] Another program they whipped up willy-billy.
[00:50:07] Yeah, it's just easy.
[00:50:08] It would have been easier to believe
[00:50:09] that he was just trying to hypnotize them
[00:50:10] to do his work.
[00:50:12] Correct.
[00:50:13] But then they throw in DNA restructuring.
[00:50:15] A program they're-
[00:50:16] We do not have time to talk about it.
[00:50:17] They haven't been working on this program.
[00:50:19] They've been working for years on earth protectors.
[00:50:23] Earth protectors.
[00:50:24] On the side, Malcolm's been working on the DNA restructure.
[00:50:27] I do love the idea that Nina thinks
[00:50:29] they're really trying to save the planet here.
[00:50:31] My favorite thing.
[00:50:32] So Nina, when she sees that, she's like,
[00:50:34] okay, she tries to do a disc switch.
[00:50:36] Doesn't work.
[00:50:37] They're on to her.
[00:50:38] So when the kids show up, she says,
[00:50:40] now's my chance to get back in.
[00:50:41] So she acts like she is going to put Scott
[00:50:47] in the aluminum foil handcuffs
[00:50:48] because she knows that he's not actually a superhero.
[00:50:51] So she knows that the foil's not gonna work.
[00:50:53] It's like, just go along with it.
[00:50:54] Cause if you whisper, no one can hear you.
[00:50:55] No, you can't hear this clear.
[00:50:57] So act like he is put away.
[00:51:00] He's not.
[00:51:01] Does a soccer ball, Tom Fulery kick him through.
[00:51:05] Which is-
[00:51:06] Does a soccer ball, Tom Fulery?
[00:51:07] Well, they do the thing where they fake the bullets,
[00:51:10] the shots.
[00:51:10] Yes.
[00:51:11] Jumping on the plastic wrap, of course.
[00:51:13] Right, which is great.
[00:51:14] And it is a bold move of Amy to be like,
[00:51:17] we are captured.
[00:51:19] Scott, you have not scored a goal all season.
[00:51:22] Been real bad, been wide left all season.
[00:51:24] I'm gonna pass you the ball.
[00:51:26] For someone nicknamed the choke king,
[00:51:27] we're gonna give you one more opportunity.
[00:51:29] Yes.
[00:51:30] One shot.
[00:51:31] And one opportunity.
[00:51:32] There are these, for reasons I can only imagine being,
[00:51:37] in case someone wants-
[00:51:38] Surrounded by yoke.
[00:51:39] Sorry, we don't have time.
[00:51:40] We don't have time.
[00:51:41] We're up against it.
[00:51:42] There are big balls of aluminum foil hanging above them.
[00:51:44] There are giant balls.
[00:51:46] I don't know their purpose.
[00:51:47] Aside from if someone wants to rescue,
[00:51:50] then they can knock those down and it would help
[00:51:53] to get rid of the computers.
[00:51:54] Cause that's what happened.
[00:51:55] That's what happened.
[00:51:56] And I can't think of another purpose
[00:51:58] for these big giant balls hanging above them.
[00:52:01] Can you?
[00:52:02] They keep them from flying out.
[00:52:03] The soccer ball hits the computer.
[00:52:04] Yeah, the soccer ball hits-
[00:52:06] No, it hits the computer.
[00:52:06] No, it hits the computer straight away.
[00:52:08] Oh really?
[00:52:09] Yeah.
[00:52:10] Then what are the point of the balls?
[00:52:11] We don't know.
[00:52:11] The balls up top,
[00:52:14] keep them from flying straight up and out.
[00:52:17] But when the cage also, it's like-
[00:52:19] I don't know if the cage goes all,
[00:52:20] I think the balls are the top of the cage.
[00:52:21] Just, but instead of making big balls of aluminum foil,
[00:52:24] just don't-
[00:52:26] They wanted to decorate it and make it look nice?
[00:52:28] For some reason I thought he hit one of the balls
[00:52:30] and they came down, but I trust you guys.
[00:52:32] So anyways, the computers knock over and they're safe.
[00:52:34] They're safe.
[00:52:35] We were one second from DNA restructuring.
[00:52:38] Nina gets off Scott Free.
[00:52:40] Yeah, they say Nina year-
[00:52:41] She's like, how bad did I know this was happening?
[00:52:43] They MIB style neuralize all of the kids
[00:52:46] so they don't remember what's in the cage.
[00:52:47] They just aim me.
[00:52:48] They let Scott remember.
[00:52:49] Randy gets to remember that he's-
[00:52:52] Randy's like, every superhero needs a sidekick.
[00:52:53] It's me and the best friend.
[00:52:55] They're like, your quirky will go.
[00:52:56] And then they play soccer.
[00:52:57] Well hold on really quickly.
[00:52:58] Before the forgetful time,
[00:53:02] Amy says, hey Scott,
[00:53:04] now that I have seen you save today
[00:53:06] and make a goal for once in your gosh darn life.
[00:53:09] She is saying, hey this has nothing to do
[00:53:11] with the fact that you just saved my life.
[00:53:12] 100% that was-
[00:53:13] We'll go to the dance with me.
[00:53:14] Do you want to go to the dance?
[00:53:15] And he's like, oh my gosh, I wanted to ask you
[00:53:16] but I didn't think you liked me.
[00:53:18] They immediately make her forget
[00:53:20] that that has ever happened.
[00:53:21] Cool blooded there.
[00:53:22] But they're like-
[00:53:23] That's the wrong points.
[00:53:24] I'm like, she liked you all along.
[00:53:25] That's right.
[00:53:26] If she did, we don't know.
[00:53:27] I don't know.
[00:53:28] They do go to the soccer game
[00:53:30] and it's time to pick Captain's Amy.
[00:53:32] Which we've been talking about a lot.
[00:53:35] You guys know that was the case.
[00:53:36] Big thing.
[00:53:37] Amy and Scott end up being co-captains
[00:53:39] because they vote for each other.
[00:53:40] Vote for each other.
[00:53:41] This is his chance to ask her to the dance.
[00:53:43] He does not do that.
[00:53:45] He goes and he plays little kick-ums with Randy.
[00:53:50] And that's it!
[00:53:50] That is up, up in a way.
[00:53:52] He doesn't get powers.
[00:53:53] He doesn't get powers.
[00:53:55] He doesn't do anything.
[00:53:57] He's just kinda like,
[00:53:58] that's just kind of the way things are.
[00:54:00] We're gonna take a quick break.
[00:54:01] We're gonna come back.
[00:54:02] And we are going to break down Decad.
[00:54:04] This is a movie.
[00:54:05] A little bit more.
[00:54:06] Here on, take it away.
[00:54:07] Take it away, Aaron.
[00:54:08] What is this show?
[00:54:09] Decad and Sector.
[00:54:10] There we go.
[00:54:16] No one can say we take too many breaks.
[00:54:20] No, no, no.
[00:54:21] You're not complaining about the commercials
[00:54:23] per minute of pod here.
[00:54:24] I think we're doing...
[00:54:26] How was my timing on that break?
[00:54:28] It was beautiful.
[00:54:29] Crushed it.
[00:54:30] It was beautiful.
[00:54:31] It's time for overtime.
[00:54:32] It is where we...
[00:54:33] It was beautiful.
[00:54:34] It was beautiful timing.
[00:54:35] Beautiful timing.
[00:54:38] It's time for overtime.
[00:54:39] It's where we talk about
[00:54:40] what we thought about this movie.
[00:54:41] He'd never call me beautiful.
[00:54:43] I would call your...
[00:54:44] You're right.
[00:54:45] I would call your timing.
[00:54:46] I would call your timing beautiful.
[00:54:47] You've never called my timing beautiful.
[00:54:49] It's never been beautiful.
[00:54:50] And we've been working together
[00:54:51] for over half a decade.
[00:54:52] You've never done it that good.
[00:54:53] I've never...
[00:54:54] My timing's never been that beautiful.
[00:54:55] We'll see what happens next week.
[00:54:57] Unbelievable.
[00:54:58] We'll see what happens next week.
[00:54:59] Because she's a woman.
[00:55:00] Here's some letter box reviews for you.
[00:55:03] He-sa says...
[00:55:04] You know it's not that because he would never...
[00:55:06] He would never...
[00:55:07] No, no, no.
[00:55:08] He-sa says he doesn't want you to have the autonomy
[00:55:09] to go to break.
[00:55:11] Well, if...
[00:55:12] Again, this is only in regards to the planet.
[00:55:15] If it had a negative effect on the planet,
[00:55:18] then absolutely I would stop her from going to break.
[00:55:21] Man, there's a lot there.
[00:55:23] Call me a monster.
[00:55:24] I'm trying to save the planet.
[00:55:30] He-sa says way better than Black Panther.
[00:55:38] Shut it down.
[00:55:40] Christine says this is the most underrated
[00:55:42] DCUM ever, Sky High Who.
[00:55:44] How dare you?
[00:55:45] Sky High Fantastic.
[00:55:47] Uh-oh.
[00:55:48] The grandparents...
[00:55:49] It's also not a DCUM.
[00:55:50] The grandparents know and are friends with Peter Parker
[00:55:53] and Mary Jane.
[00:55:54] This film is so underrated.
[00:55:56] There is a very quick throwaway light of the grandparents
[00:55:59] talking about getting dinner with Peter Parker
[00:56:01] and Mary Jane.
[00:56:02] So there you go.
[00:56:03] Don, again, throwing some Sky High Slander,
[00:56:05] says Sky High is quaking right now.
[00:56:09] I don't know what Sky High is, but...
[00:56:11] Oh my God!
[00:56:12] I love the shots fired.
[00:56:14] Why are you shocked by that?
[00:56:15] Because it was a theatrical release.
[00:56:17] Oh yeah.
[00:56:18] That's not a DCUM.
[00:56:19] No, it's not.
[00:56:20] I said that.
[00:56:21] I said it was not a DCUM.
[00:56:22] No, it's a real movie.
[00:56:23] Uh, Luca says only DCUMs can introduce...
[00:56:26] Whoa, it's a real movie?
[00:56:27] Walk it back.
[00:56:28] Sorry.
[00:56:29] Theatrical movie.
[00:56:30] Um, which Dan would qualify as a real movie.
[00:56:34] Oh my gosh.
[00:56:35] I, of course, understand how cinema works.
[00:56:38] Uh, Luca says only DCUMs can introduce and finish a subplot
[00:56:43] with two minutes left.
[00:56:45] Kennedy said those firefighters were really useless, huh?
[00:56:49] They really were!
[00:56:52] Yeah.
[00:56:53] They did nothing.
[00:56:54] Even when he did 98% of the work,
[00:56:56] they just stood there and they're like,
[00:56:57] can we help you?
[00:56:58] Yeah, there's nothing we do.
[00:56:59] If we had a ladder or other equipment to save people...
[00:57:02] Like, how many times in a TV show or a movie do they have, like,
[00:57:05] the trampoline thing so you can jump?
[00:57:06] So many things!
[00:57:07] They had nothing.
[00:57:08] They weren't ready for any emergency.
[00:57:10] So useless.
[00:57:11] Um, Genelein says, man, that's crazy.
[00:57:14] I was just thinking, I wish I was watching in Kanto.
[00:57:17] I told you!
[00:57:19] He said that!
[00:57:20] Yeah.
[00:57:21] Kanto Incredibles.
[00:57:22] Disney bottles from Disney.
[00:57:23] Uh, Free Kev says a black superhero family whose weakness is aluminum foil
[00:57:27] is sincerely an amusing premise, fair enough.
[00:57:31] And, uh, laugh about least.
[00:57:34] Maddie says, F you, F you, Randy, he's the real villain.
[00:57:38] Come on, Maddie!
[00:57:40] Come on, Maddie.
[00:57:42] F you, Randy!
[00:57:44] Randy was a treat.
[00:57:46] Erin, you had seen this movie before?
[00:57:48] You've seen it now.
[00:57:49] How's it hold up over time?
[00:57:51] Yeah, um, I remember really liking this movie as a kid.
[00:57:56] It wasn't one that they aired a lot.
[00:57:58] Um, so I didn't, I don't think I've seen it in definitely over a decade.
[00:58:02] Um, but probably not since like 2000.
[00:58:04] Um, and I remember really liking it.
[00:58:07] Some of you can watch us watch the movie and some people in that chat, um,
[00:58:12] were saying that it was a bad movie.
[00:58:14] So I was starting to second-guess 10 year old me's opinion.
[00:58:17] Uh, and I'm here to say I was right!
[00:58:20] I liked this movie.
[00:58:22] It held up.
[00:58:23] Um, I had forgotten.
[00:58:25] I don't think we said it in our Comchat there, but I kind of got,
[00:58:30] you made a comment while watching the movie that this was going to be a Disney ending.
[00:58:34] He gets his powers just late and he doesn't.
[00:58:36] And he, it movie ends with him not getting powers.
[00:58:38] And I didn't see that coming.
[00:58:41] Yeah.
[00:58:42] Um, and he also does not get, there's no kiss in this movie.
[00:58:45] No kiss?
[00:58:46] He gets nothing really.
[00:58:47] It was just a new, new decom.
[00:58:49] Um, and yeah, I mean, I think they could have gone a little bit more on
[00:58:55] you know, the parents appalled.
[00:58:56] I wish my parents had apologized for not believing him like, Hey,
[00:58:59] you were right all along.
[00:59:01] Wish you hadn't lied to us, but like we should have listened to you.
[00:59:03] I wish there had been a little bit more of that,
[00:59:05] but that is where Disney borrows from Disney.
[00:59:07] We get in Kanto.
[00:59:08] They do have some apology in there.
[00:59:10] So we are learning Disney's learning and doing better.
[00:59:12] Thank you so much.
[00:59:13] So need to apologize to Bruno for what they did to him.
[00:59:15] They never got to that.
[00:59:16] But they're getting there.
[00:59:17] In Kanto too.
[00:59:18] Yes.
[00:59:19] They left him saying with them.
[00:59:21] He apologizes.
[00:59:22] Bruno's like, I've been living in the wall with the rats.
[00:59:24] Can I please apologize to you?
[00:59:26] Um, yeah, the hit single from and Kanto too is we're so sorry, Bruno.
[00:59:30] We will talk about Bruno.
[00:59:31] Yeah, in therapy.
[00:59:32] Apologizing to Bruno.
[00:59:33] No, no, no.
[00:59:34] It's great.
[00:59:35] Just wait a couple of years.
[00:59:36] It's coming.
[00:59:37] Um, yeah.
[00:59:38] So I like this movie.
[00:59:39] I liked there was a lot of diversity in this movie.
[00:59:41] And that was really good to see on an early decom.
[00:59:43] Um, I think it's a good idea to have a little bit of
[00:59:45] a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of
[00:59:47] a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of
[00:59:49] a little bit of the real reality of this walk.
[00:59:50] So in terms of public informed $1100 in a hearing.
[00:59:52] Absolutely.
[00:59:53] ranslating $AAA.
[00:59:54] No SUNNANI for what are you talking about.
[00:59:55] In terms of popularity.
[00:59:56] Grant.
[00:59:57] Yeah, I love the subculture you're gonna say his voice is
[01:00:00] Clipboard speak-off and you see people making a pandemic
[01:00:02] up and that's how we make the internet run on that
[01:00:04] seeing how that's happening during work,
[01:00:06] kind of, somehow I gonna say.
[01:00:08] Like, if there's any wardrobe store,
[01:00:09] You know this my great honored husband W الع
[01:00:11] and he usedハ site in a university.
[01:00:13] He pulled words off arm tree older women.
[01:00:15] Yeah, so that CEO
[01:00:18] I don't want to explain to me how any of that works.
[01:00:19] But yeah, I really liked this movie.
[01:00:21] It still holds up.
[01:00:22] It's got some good lessons, some good friends.
[01:00:24] You would like to be a superhero
[01:00:27] under, would like to own a ranch?
[01:00:31] You'd rather own a ranch than be a superhero?
[01:00:33] I feel with great power comes good responsibility.
[01:00:36] Being a superhero,
[01:00:36] I would have to run into burning buildings.
[01:00:38] But with ranch there's no responsibility.
[01:00:40] No, but my chance of getting injured or hurt,
[01:00:42] I feel like increase a lot
[01:00:44] if I'm running into burning buildings.
[01:00:46] Also, I want to live on my own ranch,
[01:00:47] do the work for me and not just be beholden
[01:00:49] to like driving my kids to soccer practice,
[01:00:51] have to drop them off on this side of the road
[01:00:52] because a bank robbery is going on in place.
[01:00:54] You're superhero but you get a tree house,
[01:00:56] ranch or tree house?
[01:00:58] Oh, that's tough.
[01:00:58] Superhero, superhero.
[01:00:59] Yeah, tree house weighs it.
[01:01:01] Yeah, I thought it might.
[01:01:02] Can I fly?
[01:01:03] I don't know, you just said superhero.
[01:01:06] That's your choice.
[01:01:06] I'm not prepared for follow-ups.
[01:01:07] If I can't have a horse, I do want to fly.
[01:01:09] Okay.
[01:01:10] I need to be able to have some sort of transportation
[01:01:11] that's not like a project.
[01:01:12] I still can't believe ranch is above superhero
[01:01:13] with any other hero there.
[01:01:14] That's crazy.
[01:01:15] But at the end of the day,
[01:01:15] I can go sit on my outlook point with like a glass of wine
[01:01:18] and just relax after a hard day.
[01:01:21] I don't know if I'm going to get that chance.
[01:01:23] I've seen all the Marvel movies, they're busy.
[01:01:26] Man.
[01:01:27] I just want to live my life.
[01:01:27] This is an interesting take.
[01:01:28] Yeah.
[01:01:29] All right.
[01:01:30] Sorry Captain America.
[01:01:31] I know I'm repping you right now
[01:01:32] but you're like a horse.
[01:01:33] I keep looking at her hating this.
[01:01:34] She would rather just be by herself than help people.
[01:01:37] I have nothing to say.
[01:01:38] She'd rather watch the earth burn to the ground.
[01:01:42] From my outlook point and my outlook point.
[01:01:45] With her glass of wine that helped be a part of the solution.
[01:01:48] You believe that?
[01:01:49] I can't believe it.
[01:01:50] This is why you can't have autonomy.
[01:01:53] Stand by that take.
[01:01:55] Yeah.
[01:01:57] This movie rules, I think like pretty cool movie.
[01:02:01] I didn't, I watched it.
[01:02:04] I watched it and as a kid and I was telling them
[01:02:09] I vaguely remember any time it was on after the fact
[01:02:13] like not wanting to rewatch it but rewatching
[01:02:15] and now I'm like this movie kind of rules.
[01:02:18] It's short.
[01:02:21] I feel crazy saying I wish one of these was longer
[01:02:24] but I do, like I think there's some more stuff
[01:02:26] that we could explore here.
[01:02:27] If anyone was going to be a little bit longer.
[01:02:29] The 78 minute one.
[01:02:31] 78 minute one, yeah.
[01:02:32] I mean, I love Horsense.
[01:02:36] That movie could have been like 20 minutes shorter.
[01:02:38] At minimum.
[01:02:40] I've taken those 20 minutes
[01:02:41] and given us some resolution on up, up and away.
[01:02:44] And like a really cool.
[01:02:46] Do Scott and Amy go to the dance?
[01:02:47] A really cool family with likable characters.
[01:02:50] Like this movie came out in 2000.
[01:02:52] Had a black family be superheroes
[01:02:54] and had a company who in theory
[01:02:57] was fighting for the environment ahead of its time.
[01:03:00] Disney Channel once again is ahead of its time
[01:03:02] with its movie of the week.
[01:03:03] So congratulations in that regard.
[01:03:06] But yeah, obviously there's some things here
[01:03:09] that fall through the cracks
[01:03:10] that maybe don't make as much sense.
[01:03:12] But a really like a fun movie.
[01:03:14] I thought it was fun and I was shocked.
[01:03:18] I was a little bit shocked
[01:03:20] that they didn't give them superheroes.
[01:03:22] I was mega shocked.
[01:03:23] Powers?
[01:03:24] Powers.
[01:03:25] They gave them superheroes.
[01:03:25] They didn't get powers.
[01:03:27] Mega shocked, especially after last week's
[01:03:30] really weird kiss or two weeks ago,
[01:03:32] really weird kiss that we didn't get any sort of resolution.
[01:03:36] No, the, the, the, the, the
[01:03:38] That is a weird, yeah.
[01:03:39] What extended cut were you watching?
[01:03:41] Extended cut.
[01:03:42] Was that just my, it was just your cut?
[01:03:44] Was it your cut?
[01:03:45] Is there anybody else?
[01:03:46] No, the one from two weeks ago
[01:03:47] when we saw an invisible friend,
[01:03:50] a kiss of mine or-
[01:03:51] Oh look out of the bed.
[01:03:52] I thought for sure, we have this whole like,
[01:03:54] hey, will you go to the dance with me?
[01:03:55] Yeah, I forgot to forget it.
[01:03:57] That's it.
[01:03:57] Like no more of that.
[01:03:59] And so like proud of Disney
[01:04:02] for like, you know, containing themselves.
[01:04:05] But I just didn't see a comment.
[01:04:07] So yeah, I liked this a lot more
[01:04:09] than I anticipated I was going to.
[01:04:10] Dana?
[01:04:11] Yeah, a little bit more tepid version of what they said.
[01:04:13] I think if this movie was 10 minutes longer,
[01:04:16] it would be like maybe top five for me.
[01:04:19] I think that if it's 10 minutes longer,
[01:04:21] it doesn't feel rushed.
[01:04:23] The Nina thing maybe makes more sense.
[01:04:25] The-
[01:04:26] I don't know if he's ever making sense of it.
[01:04:28] That's true.
[01:04:29] Nina is real dumb.
[01:04:30] I do feel like everything they said about
[01:04:33] that it'd be ahead of its time,
[01:04:34] everything you guys said,
[01:04:35] the diversity of it was cool.
[01:04:36] Randy is a treat in this movie.
[01:04:39] It just felt like they didn't flesh out anything enough
[01:04:42] to really make it super memorable.
[01:04:44] But was it better and more entertaining
[01:04:46] than a lot of what we've watched?
[01:04:47] Yeah, yeah it was.
[01:04:48] So I'm not mad at it.
[01:04:50] I want to know like why this one is that short?
[01:04:53] Like why was this,
[01:04:54] I think this was when it aired
[01:04:55] at probably an hour 30 with commercials would be my guess.
[01:04:58] So like why did that get the-
[01:05:01] I don't know.
[01:05:01] But I enjoyed-
[01:05:03] Dude, if horse sense could have been 78 minutes.
[01:05:06] Oh, can you imagine?
[01:05:07] Yeah.
[01:05:08] I'll say that.
[01:05:09] For sure.
[01:05:10] I'm excited about your rankings
[01:05:11] because you basically said I wish you could have taken
[01:05:13] 20 minutes from horse sense and given it to up-up-up.
[01:05:15] I can't wait until horse sense-
[01:05:16] Horse sense has already dropped down on me.
[01:05:17] Wow.
[01:05:18] Wow.
[01:05:19] You should be getting tired.
[01:05:20] It's gonna make a high debut on the list
[01:05:22] because I want to own a ranch and a horse
[01:05:24] but it's gonna fall down.
[01:05:26] Let's get to the rankings.
[01:05:30] The making the list part of the show, if you will.
[01:05:34] Aaron, top 10 few movies
[01:05:37] we're never gonna even talk about it again.
[01:05:39] That's right.
[01:05:40] They've already fallen off.
[01:05:41] You lucky dog is a distant memory at this point.
[01:05:42] Yeah, we can stop bringing it up.
[01:05:44] All together.
[01:05:45] Aaron, what do you got?
[01:05:48] All right, number 10, we have can of worms.
[01:05:51] Number nine, genius.
[01:05:53] Number eight, don't look under the bed.
[01:05:55] Number seven, horse sense.
[01:05:57] Number six, brink five-
[01:05:58] You already moved brink back ahead of horse sense.
[01:06:01] I did.
[01:06:01] I told you.
[01:06:02] Thank you.
[01:06:03] What the hell are you doing?
[01:06:05] Thank you for coming to your...
[01:06:06] You just did it to prove a point last week.
[01:06:08] Last week was 45 minutes ago.
[01:06:10] When we record that episode two hours ago?
[01:06:12] Thank you for coming to your horse sense.
[01:06:14] Seven days.
[01:06:15] This is ridiculous.
[01:06:16] Seven days.
[01:06:17] This is ridiculous.
[01:06:18] Guys, I said thank you for coming to your horse sense
[01:06:20] and I thought it was pretty funny
[01:06:21] and I wanted to make sure you guys are in it.
[01:06:23] This is ridiculous.
[01:06:25] I'll move it back.
[01:06:27] I guess to make Dan happy,
[01:06:29] I'm not that good.
[01:06:31] Six horse sense, just kidding.
[01:06:33] Brink five up, up and away.
[01:06:35] Then we got Xenon, Halloween Town.
[01:06:38] Smart house.
[01:06:39] Which one do you have up and away?
[01:06:40] Five.
[01:06:41] Five.
[01:06:42] Five.
[01:06:43] Yeah, I do think on a movie standpoint,
[01:06:46] like there's not a whole lot of...
[01:06:48] I mean there are like plot holes
[01:06:49] but compared to some of the ones in my top four,
[01:06:52] I think it might be a better movie
[01:06:53] but the nostalgia is gonna keep Xenon there for a while.
[01:06:57] and it all popped up in ways better than Xena.
[01:06:58] I'm not saying that.
[01:07:01] Next week's core sense is gonna be one though,
[01:07:02] based on how this goes.
[01:07:04] Yeah, just to know.
[01:07:05] Well, as we were talking,
[01:07:07] this movie did not end in a kiss
[01:07:09] and it really kind of highlighted,
[01:07:12] the ending kiss of Don't Come to the Bed
[01:07:14] is gonna keep bringing it down for me.
[01:07:15] Every time I remember it,
[01:07:17] that movie did not need to end
[01:07:18] at any sort of romantic entanglement.
[01:07:22] Yeah, and once I get more away from,
[01:07:24] are you asking me about
[01:07:26] what I'd rather be a superhero with a treehouse
[01:07:28] or a ranch for the treehouse?
[01:07:30] It's really about the treehouse for me,
[01:07:31] so that's gonna bring core sense down a little bit.
[01:07:33] Shout out to Jada Smith over there
[01:07:35] with the entanglement speak.
[01:07:37] The entanglement.
[01:07:38] Do you remember the red table
[01:07:39] where she talked about having an entanglement
[01:07:41] and Will Smith was like,
[01:07:42] why are you calling it an entanglement?
[01:07:43] It's getting better with you.
[01:07:45] Jada is explaining it.
[01:07:47] Yeah, because you said,
[01:07:48] because you said the...
[01:07:49] Oh, I used the word entanglement.
[01:07:50] Entanglement, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[01:07:51] And that makes me Jada.
[01:07:52] Which seems appropriate on this movie.
[01:07:54] That's right.
[01:07:55] So it compare me to a strong black woman,
[01:07:56] but thank you.
[01:08:00] Brain is just taking it just on the fascist chin over there.
[01:08:06] I just, I've just never heard anyone else say entanglement.
[01:08:10] Really?
[01:08:11] Outside of that,
[01:08:12] in talking about a relationship.
[01:08:14] What's your top 10 brain?
[01:08:15] 10 can of worms.
[01:08:16] 9 13th year, 8 up, up and away,
[01:08:20] 7 xenon, 6 genius,
[01:08:23] 5 don't look under the bed,
[01:08:26] 4 Halloween town,
[01:08:27] 3 Johnny Thunami,
[01:08:30] 2 smart house, 1 break.
[01:08:34] Number 10 under wraps for me,
[01:08:37] horse sense,
[01:08:38] see ya out of the top 10.
[01:08:40] Number 9 can of worms.
[01:08:42] Number 8 smart house.
[01:08:44] Smart house ain't gonna be in the top 10 long.
[01:08:46] I don't think.
[01:08:47] Wow.
[01:08:48] Number 7 don't look under the bed.
[01:08:50] Number 6 up, up and away.
[01:08:53] Number 5 xenon, 4 break,
[01:08:56] 3 genius to Halloween town,
[01:08:58] 1 Johnny Thunami.
[01:09:01] Wow.
[01:09:02] By a large margin.
[01:09:03] If you are somehow still listening ever,
[01:09:07] hit me up.
[01:09:07] So I mean,
[01:09:09] Johnny Thunami.
[01:09:10] Oh yeah.
[01:09:12] The best human being in the entire world.
[01:09:14] That's right.
[01:09:14] I mean this guy, he's the best.
[01:09:16] Unbelievable.
[01:09:16] Imagine I was almost like brain as mom raised him.
[01:09:19] No, no, you 100%.
[01:09:21] 100%.
[01:09:23] If that story ever comes up,
[01:09:25] I'm gonna be like mom,
[01:09:26] thumb the brakes.
[01:09:27] Let me introduce you to Johnny Thunami.
[01:09:29] We did it everybody.
[01:09:30] Congratulations.
[01:09:31] We had a great time today.
[01:09:33] Next week,
[01:09:34] I guess we'll find out it is the,
[01:09:37] what is the movie?
[01:09:38] It is the color of friendship.
[01:09:39] The color of friendship.
[01:09:41] It's gonna be a fun time until then.
[01:09:43] I may not have a good time.
[01:09:44] I mean I don't have a good time.
[01:09:46] Okay.
[01:09:46] I don't remember.
[01:09:47] I don't remember.
[01:09:48] I know I've seen that.
[01:09:49] I thought up and away
[01:09:50] was gonna be about a hot air balloon.
[01:09:51] So there ain't no one.
[01:09:52] No, that's actually the color purple.
[01:09:54] It's about a hot air balloon.
[01:09:55] The color purple?
[01:09:56] Yeah, I'm sorry.
[01:09:58] Hot brain.
[01:10:00] Why don't you take the next dozen years off?
[01:10:04] Wish I could.
[01:10:05] For Dan Aaron and Mussolini,
[01:10:07] it's been DCOM Descendants.
